LEGO Pokémon blind boxes have not been confirmed. The claim that buildable Pokémon blind boxes are coming in March 2027 comes from a community leak post, not an announcement from LEGO or The Pokémon Company. The LEGO Pokémon partnership and its sets are real; this particular format and date remain rumor.
Where the blind-box rumor comes from
An October 8, 2026 post in the LEGO leak community r/Legoleak is titled “Pokémon: Buildable Pokémon Blind Boxes (from Cooped) March 2027.” That establishes that the claim is circulating, but the post is not official confirmation and its title does not provide independent evidence that the products or date are genuine. Neither LEGO nor The Pokémon Company has confirmed or denied this specific blind-box claim in the official announcements cited here. So “March 2027” should be treated as an unverified rumored date—not a release date to plan around.
What LEGO has officially announced
The collaboration itself is official. LEGO and The Pokémon Company International announced a multi-year partnership on March 18, 2025, with products expected from 2026. The Pokémon Company International’s partnership announcement describes a new LEGO Pokémon play experience, but does not mention blind boxes.

What to buy if you want LEGO Pokémon now
If you want a confirmed buildable set rather than an uncertain rumor, LEGO Pokémon Eevee (72151) is one officially announced option. LEGO’s announcement specifies its age guidance, piece count, height, launch date, and announcement-era prices above; check the current listing before buying. It is a standard announced set, not a blind box.
LEGO Chief Marketing and Product Officer Julia Goldin said in the July 7, 2026 announcement, “We know fans are thrilled to see the LEGO Pokémon world continue to grow within our portfolio.” That comment is about the expanding range, not confirmation of mystery-box products.

What would count as confirmation?
A leak-community post is a reason to watch for an update, not proof of a product launch. Confirmation would need to come from LEGO or The Pokémon Company—for example, a direct announcement naming the blind-box format and giving a release date. Until then, the safest answer is that LEGO Pokémon is real, while blind boxes and March 2027 are unverified.
