Epic still provides a Fortnite reward-code redemption page, but that page does not advertise Minty Axe codes. The exact cutoff for the historic promotion has not been verified in an official Epic source.
Can you still get a Minty Axe code from Epic?
No current official Minty Axe code offer was found. Epic’s Fortnite reward-code page is available for redeeming codes after signing in to an Epic account, but it is a redemption portal—not proof that a particular old code is being distributed or will work.
Epic’s support guidance says valid, unused retail bundle codes do not expire, but its examples concern other retail bundles and do not establish that this rule covers the Minty Axe promotion. The general rule cannot confirm that a Minty code remains valid. See Epic’s retail-pack availability and redemption guidance.
Has Epic confirmed when Minty Axe codes expired?
The exact expiration date for Minty Axe promotional codes is not established by the official sources cited here. A Reddit discussion from November 25, 2023 includes a commenter saying that all codes had expired, but that is community testimony, not an Epic announcement: “Anyone know how to still redeem the Merry Minty Axe?”

A 2019 Reddit FAQ records community instructions from the promotion period and provides historical context, but it is not official promotion documentation: “Minty Pickaxe Information/FAQ”. Without an authoritative Minty-specific notice, claims naming an exact cutoff should be treated as unverified.
Could the Minty Axe return to the Item Shop?
Epic says the Item Shop rotates and advises players to check back when an item is unavailable. It does not guarantee that a particular cosmetic will return, and support cannot grant offers that are not currently in the shop. That means a possible future shop appearance is not a confirmed way to obtain the Minty Axe. See Epic’s guidance on when items return to the Fortnite shop.

Should you buy a Minty Axe code from a third-party seller?
No sufficiently reliable basis was found to recommend a third-party Minty Axe code listing. A seller’s claim that a legacy code is unused or redeemable is not confirmation from Epic, and the available evidence does not establish that such a code will work. Do not treat a resale listing as an official offer.
A Fortnite gift card adds funds to an account; it is not evidence of access to this specific cosmetic. There is no substantiated current official Minty-code option to compare with another purchase route.
