Yes. Burning Crusade Classic has class trainers, but a city may not have one for every class. Check a guide for your character’s class and the city or starting area you’re visiting; in Thunder Bluff, guards can point you toward class trainers and mark them on your map.
What class trainers do in Burning Crusade Classic
Class trainers teach eligible characters spells and abilities. Blizzard’s World of Warcraft online manual explains that once you reach the required level, you can return to your trainer, select an ability, and choose Train.
Where to look for your class trainer
Trainer coverage varies by city and class, so a major city is not guaranteed to have a trainer for your character. Use a city or starting-zone guide specific to your class and to Burning Crusade Classic. Blizzard’s Thunder Bluff city tour says guards can direct players to class trainers and mark their locations on the map.
Undercity and Silvermoon are different
The city guides illustrate why it helps to check the specific location: Undercity has trainers for several classes but no Druid, Hunter, or Shaman trainers. Does TBC Classic have class trainers in Outland?
The cited Burning Crusade trainer overview covers Azeroth capitals and new starting zones such as Exodar and Silvermoon, but excludes Shattrath trainers because those NPCs were added during Cataclysm. This coverage does not establish that class trainers are available in Outland zones, so check a TBC Classic class-trainer reference for the location you have in mind.
Class trainers are not profession trainers
Profession trainers teach professions, not class spells or abilities. For example, an Enchanting guide distinguishes city skill training from trainers in Hellfire Peninsula who teach Enchanting skill levels 300–375. Those Outland profession trainers are not evidence of class trainers there.

Find the right trainer for your character
- Confirm the game version. Use a guide for Burning Crusade Classic, rather than assuming another version of WoW has the same trainer locations.
- Match the guide to your class and location. Check the city or starting-zone guide; class coverage differs between cities.
- Ask a guard when available. In Thunder Bluff, guards can direct you to class trainers and mark the map.
- Return when eligible to learn an ability. Select it at the trainer and click Train.
