What is Arjun’s fighting style?
Bare-knuckle Yoga
Capcom calls Arjun’s style “Bare-knuckle Yoga.” The publisher says his exceptional lung capacity and yoga breathing allow him to release explosive physical power. His attacks are designed to keep pressure on a guarding opponent while causing recoverable damage, according to the launch description.

That description explains the intended identity of the character, not a measured assessment of his performance. There is no official evidence in the release material for a tier placement, tournament viability or a specific advantage over existing fighters.
Who is Arjun in Street Fighter 6’s story?
Arjun is from India and formerly served as a police officer. After being accused of killing a colleague, he went into hiding. His current goal is to find the person responsible and clear the truth behind the accusation. The backstory gives his search for the real culprit a central role in his character profile.
How do you get Arjun?
Year 4 Character Pass
The direct DLC route is the Year 4 Character Pass. It includes all four Year 4 fighters—Yasmine, Arjun, Tifa and Bosch—plus Outfit 1 colors 3 through 10 for each character and 3,000 Drive Tickets. The base game is not included; Capcom says Street Fighter 6 must be purchased separately.

Capcom’s general pass overview says the four characters unlock sequentially, beginning August 3, 2026. Because Arjun is the second release, owners of the pass receive him as part of that sequence rather than buying him as a separate character pass.

Outfit 2 access
Outfit 2 was available to purchase at Arjun’s launch. Capcom also describes an in-game route through Avatar Arcade: players can unlock it by maxing the mentor acquisition gauge. In-game availability and storefront options can vary by region or change after launch, so check the current menus and store listing for your platform.

Which platforms have the content?
Capcom’s Japanese release-day announcement lists Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Steam for Street Fighter 6. It also mentions a packaged “Years 1-2 Fighters Edition.” Those market-specific details do not prove that a physical edition is available on every listed platform, and DLC entitlement remains tied to the platform account and store where it is purchased.

What you need before buying Arjun’s DLC
- Own Street Fighter 6 on the same platform where you plan to use the DLC.
- Choose the Year 4 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass from that platform’s official store.
- Confirm the store region, platform, edition and current price before checkout.
- Install the update and DLC, then check the character-select roster for Arjun.
- For Outfit 2, use the purchase option or progress through Avatar Arcade until the mentor acquisition gauge is full, if that route is available in your version.
What the launch announcement does—and does not—tell us
The confirmed launch facts are Arjun’s October 13, 2026 release, his position as the second Year 4 fighter, his Indian former-police-officer backstory, the Bare-knuckle Yoga concept and the stated Outfit 2 access methods.
