Arkane Lyon has shared concept art for Marvel’s Blade, its single-player, third-person game being developed with Marvel Games. The art is credited to Sergey Kolesov and Jean-Luc Monnet, but it is concept art—not a gameplay screenshot or confirmation of the final visual design. The announced story takes place in a quarantined part of Paris during a vampire emergency.
What did Arkane’s Blade key art reveal?
Arkane described the artwork as a gift from its art team and credited it to concept artists Sergey Kolesov and Jean-Luc Monnet. The studio characterized the project as an action-adventure set in Paris. The release adds an early art glimpse, not a detailed look at the game’s systems or finished presentation. Arkane’s art post

What is confirmed about Marvel’s Blade?
Bethesda Softworks and Marvel Games announced the project on December 7, 2023, with Arkane Lyon developing it in collaboration with Marvel Games. Bethesda described it as a mature, single-player, third-person game with an original story and Arkane’s signature immersive gameplay. Bethesda’s announcement

Public information has been sparse since the 2023 reveal. In June 2026, GamesRadar+ reported that lead concept artist Jean-Luc Monnet answered cancellation concerns with a “Let us cook” GIF. That is an indirect sign of reassurance, not a detailed production update. GamesRadar+’s report
Windows Central reported that Todd Howard had recently seen material from the game and praised Arkane’s work; it also quoted Xbox content chief Matt Booty saying there could be other presentation opportunities later in 2026. Those comments do not establish a release date or confirm platforms. Windows Central’s report

What has not been announced?
Bethesda’s announcement and Arkane’s current game listing do not provide a release date or a platform list. They also do not establish a release window or exclusivity. Until an official update supplies those details, claims about when or where the game will launch remain unconfirmed.
The art release also does not confirm final gameplay visuals, particular abilities, or a launch-ready build. It offers a credited concept-art glimpse alongside the previously announced premise.
Want to explore Blade’s comic history?
Marvel’s Blade: The Early Years Omnibus is a physical collection of the character’s early comic appearances. It may be useful for readers interested in Blade’s comic background, but it is not a tie-in to Arkane’s game or a source for additional game details.
