How to connect the Fluid Pump to the pond
This objective is part of the Treasure Beneath the Pond Exploration Mission at Tianjing Courtyard in Wuling City. Third-party walkthroughs agree on the basic setup, though the community quest page notes that it is still undergoing verification. - Place the Fluid Pump. Set it at the edge of the flooded courtyard, where its intake can reach the water.
- Place the Fluid Supply Unit. Put it beside the nearby river or pond. Game8 describes the location as southeast of the courtyard.
- Connect the pipe. Run pipe from the pump outlet to the supply unit inlet. If the connection fails, check that the pipe meets the correct ports and that the facility previews show a valid connection.
- Power the facilities. Connect the fluid equipment to your power supply through the Xiranite relay or pylon network.
- Let the system run. Wait for the courtyard water to drain before continuing into the underground area.
How long does the water take to drain?
Expect to wait, potentially for several hours. The third-party estimates conflict: Game8 gives roughly 11 hours, while GameWith says approximately four hours. Neither is an official timing guarantee, so do not rely on a precise countdown. The guides also do not establish a universally best pump configuration; one video description suggests extra pumps can speed drainage, but does not settle the trade-off for every setup.
What to do after the pond drains
Once the water is gone, continue down into the newly accessible area and follow the underground route. The walkthroughs describe this sequence:
- View Bao’s message, then go to the bottom of the courtyard.
- Use the Jet Drone on the red spinning-wheel mechanisms to activate them and open the route forward.
- Navigate the opened doors and platforms, collecting the three Tianjing Courtyard Keys along the way.
- Place the three keys in the corresponding mechanisms to open the gate.
- Enter the opened gate, search for the treasure, and follow the route out of the underground.
Quest rewards
Walkthrough pages list T-Creds, Oroberyl, Protoprism, Cognitive Carrier, Arms INSP Kit, and Operational EXP as rewards, but the listed quantities differ. Check the reward screen in your current game for exact amounts.
