To complete “Transmit power to the Protocol Resonance Tower” in Arknights: Endfield, extend power from the Protocol Automation-Core (PAC) through Relay Towers: start transmission, carry the cable to each quest-marked relay position, place and power the relay, then repeat until you can connect the Protocol Resonance Tower.
How to route power to the Protocol Resonance Tower
- Start at the power source. Interact with the PAC, or with a Relay Tower already connected to it, and choose the on-screen option to start power transmission.
- Follow the quest marker with the cable. Carry the transmission cable along the marked route. At an outlined relay placement point, place a Relay Tower.
- Connect and power the relay. Interact with the newly placed tower and use the on-screen prompt to plug in the cable.
- Extend the chain. Start transmission again from that powered relay, follow the next marker, and repeat the placement and plug-in steps at each outlined position.
- Connect the destination. Continue until the cable reaches the Protocol Resonance Tower, then interact with it and plug in the cable to finish the objective.
Guides commonly describe this route as using three Relay Towers, but their wording does not always make clear whether that count includes the first relay connected to the PAC. Follow the outlined relay positions in your quest rather than relying on a fixed count. Guides also report an 80-meter maximum for each transmission segment, which is why power is extended relay by relay instead of with one long cable. These figures are walkthrough guidance, not a claim about every version or situation.
If the connection will not continue
- Check the power chain. The relay you are transmitting from must already be connected and powered before it can extend the route.
- Check the placement point and range. Carry the cable to the outlined quest location; guides report an 80-meter limit per segment, so a longer stretch may need another relay.
- Use the interaction prompt. Start transmission and plug in the cable through the prompt shown on screen. Button mappings vary by platform, and guide instructions differ, so there is no single button sequence to assume.
What happens when the tower is powered
This objective appears in the Valley Reboot main quest after the PAC is deployed. Walkthroughs report that powering the Protocol Resonance Tower restores power to Hub Base and advances the quest. The relay chain also introduces the power-routing mechanic used for the AIC setup.
For reference, walkthroughs covering this objective were published by Dot Esports and PC Gamer on January 22, 2026; PowerPyx published its Valley Reboot walkthrough on January 21, 2026. A GosuNoob video walkthrough followed on June 28, 2026. No official documentation or patch notes are cited here, so use the quest markers and your platform’s live prompts if their wording differs from a guide.
