To beat Rhodagn the Bonekrushing Fist in the Fort Showdown story fight, react to his telegraphs: evade the ventilation pull and its close-range follow-up, leave marked or burning ground, use arena cover for his powered-up blast, and circle away from sustained frontal flames. The level 90 Crisis Pandemonium encounter is a separate challenge listing, not the story fight.

Where the Rhodagn fight takes place

The story encounter occurs during Fort Showdown in Valley Pass, where mission text identifies Rhodagn as Nefarith’s champion. The game’s dialogue warns about his vortex: Wulfgard says, “He can change air density nearby. Don’t get caught in his vortex!” and Chen Qianyu warns, “His pipes are sucking us in!” (END Wiki: Fort Showdown.)

How to handle Rhodagn’s attacks

Ventilation pull and close-range follow-up

When Rhodagn uses his ventilation pipes to draw the party toward him, be ready to evade the attack that follows. The pull is not a safe opening to stand still or assume that keeping your initial distance will protect you. The dungeon reference describes the pull, and its mission transcript explicitly warns players not to get caught in the vortex (END Wiki: Fort Showdown).

Jumping slam and other telegraphed attacks

Watch for attack markers and evade as they are about to resolve. Game8 describes a jumping slam and flamethrowers, and recommends dodging and parrying; PowerPyx likewise advises dodging just before marked attacks land. These are walkthrough recommendations, not a guaranteed timing window for every move (Game8; PowerPyx).

Marked fire attacks and burning ground

Move clear when Rhodagn targets an area with fire, and do not remain on ground that is burning. The community-maintained Talos Wiki describes attacks aimed at marked spots that leave burning ground; the dungeon summary also warns players to evade fire jets (END Wiki: Fort Showdown; Endfield Talos Wiki: Rhodagn the Bonekrushing Fist).

Sustained frontal flames

When Rhodagn sustains a forward flame attack, move around to his side or rear rather than staying in front of him. PowerPyx recommends circling him so the flames are not aimed at the player from the front. Treat this as a repositioning tactic, not a guarantee against every attack (PowerPyx).

Powered-up blast and arena cover

In the powered-up sequence, falling remnants precede a large explosion. Get out of the danger area and place a remnant or concrete arena construct between your character and the blast. The Talos Wiki describes using a remnant as cover, while PowerPyx also points to the concrete constructs around the arena (Endfield Talos Wiki: Rhodagn the Bonekrushing Fist; PowerPyx).

What changes in Rhodagn’s powered-up phase?

The Talos Wiki places the phase transition at roughly one-third of Rhodagn’s HP lost. It says he connects the ventilation pipes to his armor and gains Denstack power; the subsequent blast sequence involves nearby remnants that can provide cover. The official dungeon reference also confirms Denstack power and fire jets, but does not give this detailed sequence. Treat the threshold and sequence as community-reference guidance, not official patch notes (Endfield Talos Wiki: Rhodagn the Bonekrushing Fist; END Wiki: Fort Showdown).

Story fight and Crisis Pandemonium are different encounters

The END Wiki separately lists Crisis Pandemonium: Rhodagn as a level 90 RE-Crisis encounter, with a recommended operator level of 90 and a raid stamina cost of 120. Those values apply to that challenge listing; they should not be treated as level or resource requirements for the Fort Showdown story fight. The wiki does not state a publication year for these figures (END Wiki: Crisis Pandemonium: Rhodagn).

Encounter What the source establishes How to use the information
Fort Showdown story fight Mission encounter in Valley Pass; a story level recommendation is not stated in the cited mission reference (END Wiki: Fort Showdown). Use the attack guidance above; do not infer the Crisis listing’s level or stamina values apply.
Crisis Pandemonium: Rhodagn Level 90 encounter, recommended operator level 90, and raid stamina cost 120, as listed by END Wiki; source year not stated (END Wiki: Crisis Pandemonium: Rhodagn). These are challenge-specific listing values, not stated requirements for the story encounter.

What the available guides do not establish

The cited material supports attack-response tactics, but does not establish a required operator team or equipment build. It also does not identify which game version the detailed community sequence or walkthrough advice applies to, so later patches may affect the mechanics. The recommendations here synthesize the mission reference, community-maintained database, and walkthroughs; they are not based on personal playtesting.
