To open the gate beneath the pond in Arknights: Endfield, collect three keys in the cave. The route described in Nerd’s Chalk’s January 30, 2026 walkthrough uses a Jet Drone to open the entrance, Ferrium bottles to spray red fan mechanisms, and destructible wooden sheds that conceal supplies or a key. You’ll travel both up and down through the cave, then cross a temporary platform for the third key.
Open the pond-side entrance and collect Ferrium bottles
- At the pond-side entrance, use the Jet Drone on the control point to open access.
- In the first chamber, break the wooden shed to reach crates containing Ferrium bottles.
- Continue into the cave and use water from the Ferrium bottles on red fan mechanisms. The walkthrough describes these fans as the way to open doors and routes, so activate them as you progress.
Find the first key and take the upper route
- After activating the fans along the route, enter the newly opened chamber and collect the first key.
- Near that key, spray the next fan to open a side passage upward, then climb the staircase.
Break the shed hiding the second key
- In the upper section, spray the fan to open the next enclosed area.
- Go inside, turn left, and spray another fan. This opens the structure containing the key.
- Break the wooden shed to reveal and collect the second key.
Activate the platform to reach the third key
- Descend one level and break another wooden shed to open the route to the final area.
- Spray the red fan to activate the temporary platform.
- Cross the platform and collect the third key on the far side.
Nerd’s Chalk says the third-key detour can be taken earlier and that the keys can be collected in any order. That sequence flexibility has not been independently confirmed, so follow the route above if you want the guide’s stated progression.
