Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail Patch 7.4, “Into the Mist,” released on December 16, 2025. The finalized notes, updated December 23, confirm a new main-scenario chapter, the Arcadion: Heavyweight Division, the Mistwake dungeon, Hell on Rails, Tsukuyomi’s Pain (Unreal), and the Worqor Chirteh (Triumph) Frontline campaign, alongside system and glamour changes. Oizys and several other additions were scheduled for 7.41 or 7.45, not the 7.4 launch.
When did FFXIV Patch 7.4 come out?
Square Enix released Patch 7.4, titled “Into the Mist,” on December 16, 2025. The Lodestone’s finalized patch notes page was updated on December 23, 2025. The official Patch 7.4 notes are the reference for what shipped and for the content explicitly assigned to later updates.
What’s in Patch 7.4?
The patch continues Dawntrail’s story and adds battle content, a new Frontline campaign, Occult Crescent phantom jobs, and changes to glamour and other systems. The official Patch 7.4 special site highlights the following additions.
Main scenario
The story continues after Calyx’s defeat. The official notes describe adventures beginning anew in its wake, while the special site says Krile turns to questions connected to her homeland.

Occult Crescent phantom jobs
New phantom jobs arrive for Occult Crescent. The special site names Mystic Knight, Dancer, and Gladiator.
Glamour and system updates
The special site describes a substantial glamour change: armor and accessory glamouring no longer has class, job, or level restrictions, and storing outfit glamours no longer requires a complete outfit set. The update also adds the Strategy Board and Command Panel. The final notes contain the detailed implementation and any applicable exceptions.

Other additions
The final notes also include new New Game+ chapters, Triple Triad cards, Doman Mahjong character voices, Wondrous Tails adjustments, Stone, Sky, Sea trials, and Duty Support for selected duties. Consult the individual entries in the final notes for conditions and availability.
What was scheduled for after 7.4?
