It adds a story set in AlUla, a new area to explore and gameplay improvements; Ubisoft says the expansion offers more than six hours of content. The release date has passed, so this is now an available update for players who own or otherwise access Mirage.
When did Valley of Memory come out?
Ubisoft announced Valley of Memory on October 6, 2025, with a launch planned for November 18. The Ubisoft Store now lists the DLC as released on November 18, 2025. Ubisoft said Title Update 1.1.0 would arrive at 14:00 UTC that day, bringing the expansion alongside changes and gameplay improvements to the full game. Is Valley of Memory free?
Yes. Ubisoft announced Valley of Memory as a free expansion for Assassin’s Creed Mirage players. You need access to the base game to play it; the expansion itself is not a separate paid DLC purchase. Ubisoft’s official game page is the starting point for checking current access options.
What does the expansion add?
A new chapter for Basim
The story sends Basim to AlUla, an area Ubisoft says is newly introduced in the update. The expansion broadens his story with new narrative content tied to the setting.

Gameplay changes to the full game
Title Update 1.1.0 also brought gameplay improvements and other changes to Mirage beyond the AlUla story expansion. The update therefore included both new expansion content and broader changes to the base game.

Ubisoft’s announcement listed Assassin’s Creed Mirage on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Amazon Luna, iOS, and PC through Ubisoft Store, Steam and Epic Games Store. Store access and subscription catalogs can vary by region and change over time, so check the relevant storefront for current availability. The expansion is for the base game on supported platforms.
