Assassin’s Creed Shadows erhielt am 16. Juni 2026 sein letztes großes Title-Update: Version 1.1.11 ergänzt das kostenlose Story-Finale Black Tides, fünf wiederspielbare Domains und den Modern-Day-Rift Horizon. Ubisoft hatte bereits im März den Übergang in eine finale, von kleineren und selteneren Updates geprägte Supportphase angekündigt. Ein neues Parkour-Update für 2026 ist damit nicht angekündigt; Parkour Update 2 gehörte zur Roadmap von 2025.
Was ist 2026 neu in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
Das wichtigste neue Paket ist Title-Update 1.1.11, veröffentlicht am 16. Juni 2026. Es bringt drei klar unterscheidbare Inhalte: den Abschluss der Hauptgeschichte mit Black Tides, wiederholbare Endgame-Simulationen namens Domains und einen neuen Modern-Day-Rift. Black Tides: kostenloses Story-Finale
Black Tides schließt die Geschichte von Naoe und Yasuke ab. Ubisoft beschreibt die Episode mit einer Spieldauer von ungefähr zwei Stunden. Das ist eine Publisher-Angabe, keine unabhängige Messung; das tatsächliche Tempo hängt vom Spielstil ab. Die Episode ist kostenlos und setzt den Besitz von Die Klauen von Awaji nicht voraus. Domains: wiederholbare Endgame-Simulationen
Das Update fügt fünf Domains hinzu. Diese Simulationen lassen sich erneut spielen und verändern ihre Bedingungen durch wechselnde Modifikatoren. Sie richten sich an Spieler, die nach der Hauptgeschichte zusätzliche Herausforderungen suchen.

Horizon ist ein zusätzlicher Modern-Day-Rift. Er gehört ebenfalls zu den Inhalten von Title-Update 1.1.11 und ergänzt die Endgame-Aktivitäten um eine Erkundung im Gegenwartsstrang.
Kommt noch ein Parkour-Update?
Ein weiteres großes Parkour-Update für 2026 ist in den genannten Ubisoft-Ankündigungen nicht bestätigt. Parkour Update 2 war Teil der Herbst-Roadmap vom 23. Oktober 2025, nicht ein neu angekündigter Inhalt für 2026. Im März 2026 erklärte Ubisoft, Shadows gehe in die finale Content-Supportphase; danach seien kleinere und seltenere Updates sowie einige Überraschungen geplant. Ubisoft-Entwickler Simon beschrieb rückblickend, dass die erneute Arbeit am Parkour von Shadows Community-Feedback aufgegriffen und auch die Parkour-Arbeit für Black Flag Resynced unterstützt habe. Awaji: Was gehört zur Erweiterung und wann erschien sie?
Die Klauen von Awaji erschien am 16. September 2025 als separate Erweiterung und führt in eine neue Region. Ubisoft hatte im April 2025 für Awaji mehr als zehn Stunden zusätzlichen Inhalt angekündigt. Diese Zahl war eine damalige Publisher-Prognose, keine unabhängige Spielzeitmessung. Wer nur das kostenlose Finale spielen möchte, muss Awaji nicht kaufen. Wer die zusätzliche Region und ihre Inhalte spielen will, benötigt die Erweiterung. Damit sind die beiden Story-Angebote voneinander getrennt: Awaji erweitert das Abenteuer separat, während Black Tides kostenlos den Hauptgeschichtsstrang abschließt.

Der Besitz der Erweiterung ist nicht erforderlich, aber Black Tides ist kein Einstiegspunkt für neue Spielstände. Ubisoft nennt drei Voraussetzungen: die Hauptgeschichte muss abgeschlossen sein, ebenso die beiden vorherigen Story-Updates A Critical Encounter und A Puzzlement.
