The latest dated game-specific patch listed on the official Assassin’s Creed Shadows Steam announcements page is Title Update 1.1.13, posted August 25, 2026. It is described as a quick patch for minor user-interface fixes. Ubisoft called Title Update 1.1.11, released June 16, 2026, the game’s final major content update; it added the free Black Tides story arc and the Domains end-game activity.
What is the latest Assassin’s Creed Shadows update?
The latest dated patch entry found on the official Steam announcements page is Title Update 1.1.13, posted August 25, 2026. Its announcement describes a quick update focused on minor user-interface fixes. This identifies the latest patch documented on that page in the sources available; it does not establish that no newer announcement has appeared elsewhere.
The preceding Title Update 1.1.12, dated July 27, 2026, was labelled a closing bug-fix update on the same announcements page. The final major content release came earlier: Ubisoft announced Title Update 1.1.11 on June 16, 2026.
What did the final major content update add?
Black Tides: a free story quest
Black Tides is a free story arc that follows the main story and the two post-launch quests “A Critical Encounter” and “A Puzzlement.” Ubisoft’s update notes describe the Black Cross, two elite Templars, hunting Naoe and Yasuke in Japan. Xbox Wire described it as the final narrative installation for the game.

Domains is an Animus activity that unlocks at level 30. It consists of gameplay simulations with challenge levels and offers rewards including outfits, weapons, trinkets, and engravings. Ubisoft presents it as an end-game feature; Xbox Wire characterized it as a replayable way for players to test and refine their RPG builds.
Where is the game available?
Ubisoft’s June 16, 2026 announcement lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC through Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam, and Macs with Apple silicon through the Mac App Store. The official Steam announcements page also includes update information for Nintendo Switch 2. What has Ubisoft said about post-launch support?
In an interview published by Xbox Wire on June 16, 2026, Ubisoft Associate Game Director Simon Lemay-Comtois said, “With Shadows, the post-launch approach has been more iterative and more responsive to player feedback than for other recent entries.” Asked which parts of the final update came directly from community feedback, he answered, “All of it.” In context, he was referring to the update’s concluding story installment and its replayability feature.
