The Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Attack on Titan crossover quest is over: Ubisoft ran it from November 25 to December 22, 2025, and says it is no longer available. The themed in-game store offers are separate; Ubisoft lists them as available through November 24, 2027. Buying Shadows now does not unlock the expired quest.
What was included in the crossover?
Ubisoft announced the collaboration on November 24, 2025. Its free story quest sent Naoe and Yasuke into an underground chapel to rescue a friend from a cult. Players had to unlock Yasuke to access the quest. Completing it awarded an exclusive katana, with other items available in hidden chests.
Separate from the quest, the in-game store offered optional themed bundles: a Titan-inspired outfit for Yasuke, a Mikasa-inspired outfit for Naoe, weapons, and a Scout Regiment mount. Ubisoft described the quest as a free story addition; the store bundles were separate purchases. The announcement is available in Ubisoft’s November 24, 2025 press release.
Is the quest still available, and can you start it?
No. Ubisoft’s current product FAQ says the quest is no longer available. It ran from November 25 through December 22, 2025; there is no current way to start it, even if you have unlocked Yasuke. Buying the base game now does not restore access.

Ubisoft lists the themed store offers as available for purchase through November 24, 2027. That deadline applies to the separately sold store items, not the free quest. Check Ubisoft’s FAQ for current availability, since store offers can change.

These are two different availability windows. Completing the quest was not required to buy the store items, and the store deadline does not extend quest access.

What platforms were announced?
Ubisoft’s announcement listed PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, Mac computers with Apple silicon, and Windows PC through Ubisoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store. It said the Switch 2 version would arrive on December 2, 2025, with the quest. Those were the platforms and timing specified in the announcement; the crossover quest has since expired.

Not if the expired quest is the reason. You can still consider Assassin’s Creed Shadows for its other content, but a new purchase will not grant the Attack on Titan mission or its quest rewards. The themed store offers are a separate matter and, according to Ubisoft, remain purchasable through November 24, 2027.

For broader context, Ubisoft said on June 16, 2026, that Title Update 1.1.11 was the game’s final major update and that it had no plans for further major content updates.
