Assassin’s Creed Unity: All Nostradamus Enigma Locations and Solutions

There are 18 Nostradamus Enigmas in Assassin’s Creed Unity. Start each chain at its map-marked scroll, then use Eagle Vision to find the unmarked symbols in the order of the clues. Completing all 18 awards fragments that unlock three basement puzzles beneath Café Théâtre and, ultimately, Thomas de Carneillon’s armor.

Use the landmark hints first if you want to solve each riddle yourself; the direct locations below are listed in clue order. Enigma names can vary by localization, so follow the name shown in your game if it differs from this guide.

How to follow an Enigma clue chain

1. Go to the Enigma’s scroll marker on the map and read its verse.
2. Use the verse to identify the likely landmark, then search the relevant surface or level: for example, a façade, roof, statue, tomb, or interior.
3. When you are close, activate Eagle Vision to reveal the symbol. The hidden glyphs are generally not marked on the map.
4. Interact with the symbol to receive the next clue, then repeat the search in the order given.

Most symbols stay near their starting district, but some chains cover a broader area. The directions below name the solution endpoints rather than providing a turn-by-turn route.
