Those details describe the current listing—not necessarily what appeared when the Steam page first went live.
What Assetto Corsa EVO is—and its current status
Assetto Corsa EVO is a racing simulation developed by KUNOS Simulazioni and published by 505 Games. Steam lists its Early Access release date as January 16, 2025. The store page describes the game as unfinished and subject to further change; its current build label is Early Access 0.9. Steam’s current store listing is the reference for the live build and its changing details.
The game’s description covers road cars, classics, hypercars and race cars, along with in-house physics and graphics, laser-scanned circuits, VR and triple-screen support. These are descriptions from the developer and publisher, not independent performance findings.

Does Assetto Corsa EVO support VR and steering wheels?
Steam lists support for SteamVR, Oculus VR and OpenXR. That establishes listed VR support, but not compatibility with every headset model.
The listing also describes force-feedback handling and wheel and gamepad settings. Its current update notes identify recovery support for DirectInput, Fanatec, Logitech and Thrustmaster devices. This is not a guarantee that every wheel—or a console wheel used on PC—will work. Check the specific device’s PC compatibility before choosing it.

What is planned for the full version?
The Steam Early Access Q&A lists a large open-world map, more vehicles and tracks, additional gameplay and interactive locations as plans for the full version. They should not be treated as features already delivered in the current build or as a guaranteed release schedule. The developer response says: “The full version of Assetto Corsa EVO is planned to be a significantly richer and more polished experience than the Early Access version.” The Steam page’s Early Access information also carries Steam’s general notice that Early Access games are incomplete and may or may not change further.
