Astrometica is a single-player space survival, exploration, and base-building game from developer BeryMery and publisher RockGame S.A. The name “Astrometica Preview” can refer to Astrometica: Prologue, a limited preview released before the full game entered Steam Early Access on December 10, 2024. They are separate releases, and the prologue’s content and playtime claims should not be treated as a description of the full game.
What is Astrometica?
In Astrometica, an explosion at a mining space station leaves you adrift in an emergency pod. You explore space in search of survivors, outposts, and resources, while working to survive and build a base. Steam describes it as a single-player game combining exploration, survival, and base building.
Its listed activities include mining asteroid belts, investigating anomalies, scanning wreckage and outposts for information and crafting discoveries, researching, crafting, and maintaining or upgrading tools. Steam also lists achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. See the Astrometica Steam listing.
What was in Astrometica: Prologue?
Astrometica: Prologue was a limited preview, not an early build name for the full game. In a Steam Community announcement dated May 21, 2024, developer BeryMery described it as containing over five hours of gameplay content, basic habitat building, two craftable space vehicles, one asteroid belt, resource management, and three tools. Those are the developer’s claims about the prologue; they are not a measured playtime estimate or feature list for the full game.

How does the prologue compare with the full Early Access game?
| Release | What the sources establish | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Astrometica: Prologue | BeryMery’s May 21, 2024 announcement lists over five hours of content, basic habitat building, two craftable vehicles, one asteroid belt, resource management, and three tools. | A limited preview with content that could change; its listed scope should not be assumed to match the full game. |
| Astrometica | The full game entered Steam Early Access on December 10, 2024. Steam’s listing describes exploration, mining, scanning, research, crafting, survival, and base building. | A separate, incomplete release whose delivered content and future plans should be distinguished. |
Steam labels the full game Early Access and says games in the program “are not complete and may or may not change further.” BeryMery’s store-provided description says the current Early Access version features crafting, research, base building, and survival mechanics. The developer also describes plans for additional features, a larger world, a complete storyline, more recipes, and more construction objects; these are plans, not confirmation that those additions are already available.
