Yes: Atari’s Gamestation Go handheld includes a built-in trak-ball, paddle and numeric keypad, alongside a D-pad, bumpers and A/B/X/Y buttons. Made with My Arcade, it is designed to pair older games with the kinds of controls they originally used.
What is the Atari Gamestation Go?
The Gamestation Go is a portable Atari game system developed in collaboration with My Arcade. Atari’s product page lists more than 200 included games, a 7-inch full-color display, Wi-Fi, HDMI output, USB-C ports, save options and a pop-out stand. Its rechargeable battery is rated by the manufacturer for 4–5 hours of playtime; that figure is a product specification, not an independent battery test. Atari’s product listing and My Arcade’s September 8, 2025 launch announcement describe the system and its features.
What do the trackball, spinner and numpad do?
Atari calls the ball a “trak-ball” and the rotary control a “paddle.” Some CES coverage and the headline use “spinner” for the latter; these terms refer to the same style of rotary input here, but “paddle” is the product maker’s terminology. The controls give games designed around specialized inputs a more natural physical match than a standard gamepad alone.
Trak-ball
A trackball is rolled with the fingers to move an on-screen cursor or aim. Ars Technica highlighted trackball-oriented games such as Centipede, Missile Command and Crystal Castles when explaining the appeal of the control mix. Ars Technica’s CES coverage discusses those game-control pairings.

Paddle or spinner
The paddle rotates to provide continuous directional input, a different feel from pressing discrete directions on a D-pad. It suits games such as Arkanoid and Tempest, which use spinner-style control conventions.
Numeric keypad
The keypad supplies number inputs for games that rely on selecting commands or options. Star Raiders is one example of a title where keypad-style input is relevant.

Price and availability
My Arcade’s September 8, 2025 launch release set the Gamestation Go’s MSRP at $179.99 and announced select-retailer availability beginning in October 2025. That final launch information supersedes CES-era estimates reported in January 2025: Ars Technica cited about $150, while TechCrunch reported $149 and an expected Q3 2025 arrival. Those earlier figures were preliminary, not the final announced price or schedule. See the launch announcement, Ars Technica and TechCrunch.
Atari’s product page currently lists $179.99 and says “Available now! Ships in 2-3 days,” but also includes “Available for pre-order now.” Because those availability messages conflict and can change, check the live product page and checkout before relying on stock or shipping details: Atari Gamestation Go.
