That is historical support, not proof that a current Cataclysm client has a working build. The main AtlasLoot Enhanced project currently lists a Retail release, and a Cataclysm-derived backport discussed here targets Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a—not Cataclysm.
What AtlasLoot does
AtlasLoot is an in-game addon for browsing World of Warcraft loot tables and item information. Depending on the project and version, it can show instance loot, faction and PvP rewards, crafting information, collections, and other item details. The AtlasLoot Enhanced project page describes those features and currently lists a Retail release: AtlasLoot Enhanced on CurseForge.
What the Cataclysm compatibility record shows
Official AtlasLoot Enhanced v6.00.00 release notes state “Compatible with World Of Warcraft: Cataclysm.” They list Cataclysm dungeon loot for Blackrock Caverns, Throne of the Tides, The Stonecore, Vortex Pinnacle, Lost City of the Tol’vir, Grim Batol, and Halls of Origination, as well as faction rewards and Tier 11 sets. Later v6.02.00 notes also record Cataclysm recipe and profession updates. These notes establish that AtlasLoot had Cataclysm support in that historical release, but do not establish compatibility with a current Cataclysm client: AtlasLoot Enhanced release notes.
Which project or build should you use?
AtlasLoot Enhanced
The main project page lists v8.13.14 as its latest release, marked Retail and dated December 26, 2022. Its current listing is not evidence of a Cataclysm-compatible client build. Do not install a Retail release for Cataclysm simply because the addon name matches.

- Great product!
AtlasLootClassic
AtlasLootClassic is a separate project. Its overview describes dungeon and raid loot tables, crafting materials and skill ranks, factions, collections, and favorites, but the overview does not certify Cataclysm compatibility. Check the exact file’s supported game version rather than inferring support from “Classic” in the name: AtlasLootClassic project overview.
Cataclysm-derived Wrath backport
A third-party backport based on AtlasLoot’s Cataclysm engine identifies its target as Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a. Its README gives manual installation directions and says the addon works without Atlas, while warning that some item names or qualities may reflect post-Cataclysm states. Those statements describe its stated Wrath target; they do not make it a Cataclysm client build: backport repository and README.
Retail fork
A separate maintained fork says it includes The War Within content and is for the latest Retail version of WoW. This is another example of why the client target matters more than the AtlasLoot name: Retail fork.

- Identify your exact game client. Determine whether you are using Retail, a specific Classic expansion client, or a private 3.3.5a client. “Cataclysm” alone may not identify which client or release you have.
- Open the project’s official file page. Check the particular file’s supported game version and release details. A project overview or an old compatibility note does not confirm that a current client is supported.
- Check content coverage. If you need particular dungeons, raids, faction rewards, or professions, confirm that the relevant module and content are included in the exact build.
- Match the installation instructions to your client. The Wrath 3.3.5a backport says to place its addon folders directly in
Interface/AddOns; follow that repository’s instructions only if Wrath 3.3.5a is actually your target.
No current client-specific Cataclysm build is confirmed here, and no live installation or in-game compatibility test was performed. The safest conclusion is that AtlasLoot had official Cataclysm support historically, while present-day compatibility depends on finding a release explicitly listed for your exact client.
