Where to find the Growth Stimulant
The Growth Stimulant is a non-craftable B.A.R.D. canister. It lies next to Dr. Langley’s corpse in the deepest area of the Medical Tunnels, where the tunnels are heavily overgrown. The item listing gives map coordinates X: 5933, Y: 11441; treat those as supplementary map coordinates rather than universal navigation directions, since the map convention may vary. Gamer Guides’ Growth Stimulant listing identifies the item and its location.

Distinguish the lead from the item
The clue and the canister are related, but they are not found in the same place. The lead “She Took the Stimulant into the Tunnels” is recorded in a Medical Tunnels control room. It describes a scientist taking the stimulant into tunnels beneath the Medical Lab; the canister itself is deeper in the tunnels, beside Langley. See the lead entry for the clue location.
The finding “Asked to bring the Growth Stimulant,” located on Langley’s corpse, warns the player not to listen to voices and ends with “DO NOT BRING THEM THE STIMULANT.” It is an in-game warning, not an instruction that changes the item’s location. The finding entry records its location and text.

How to use it at Oberon
- Take the Growth Stimulant from the Medical Tunnels to the Oberon dig site. A GameSpot walkthrough of Mother Jago’s quest describes taking the stimulant to Oberon after retrieving it from the Medical facility.
- Insert the stimulant into the terminal before activating the fire control system. The “I Used the Growth Stimulant” lead gives this order.
- Use the Fire Safety System to douse Oberon, then escape through Windscale before the growth overtakes the dig site, as described in that lead.
Walkthroughs describe this quest route, but the cited accounts do not establish that every playthrough has identical prerequisites or quest routing. The available location details also do not provide a complete route from every starting point, so avoid treating the coordinates or clue location as a guaranteed path.
