How to find Avowed weapons
For a practical search, start with the weapon’s type, then use a guide’s region or location entries to narrow down where to find it or how to acquire it. The Game8 unique-weapon checklist and Neoseeker’s weapon guide both organize entries by weapon type and location. Treat them as navigation aids: Neoseeker describes its entries as weapons its team found, and neither guide establishes a complete inventory for every current game build.
Weapon types in the guides
Game8’s checklist includes both melee and ranged equipment, alongside grimoires and shields. Its listed categories are:
- Grimoire and shield
- Dagger, sword, axe, great axe, great sword, mace, and great hammer
- Spear
- Bow, wand, pistol, and arquebus
Category labels help narrow a lookup, but they do not guarantee that every guide uses identical terminology or covers every item. Check the individual entry for the location and acquisition details relevant to the weapon you want.

What the reported weapon count means
The Hidden Gaming Lair’s Weapons Guide reports 202 known weapons across 18 maps and gives September 28, 2026, as its last update. This is that guide’s count, not an official game-wide total. The official Avowed page notes that updates have introduced unique weapons and new weapon types, so third-party catalogs can change as the game is updated.
Using item stats and version information
The available weapon references establish type-and-location lookup structures, but they do not provide a complete, current official comparison of item stats. If you are comparing damage, effects, upgrade quality, or other properties, check the item information in your current game build rather than assuming a third-party list is exhaustive or up to date. Where a guide gives its own update date, use that as context for its entries—not as confirmation that every item or statistic reflects the latest build.
