Patch 7 added 13 new cinematics for evil playthroughs in Baldur’s Gate 3. Larian described the scenes as offering varied conclusions, including for Origin-character runs and players who did not play as the Dark Urge. The announcement does not establish that every playable character receives a distinct ending.
What Patch 7 changed
Larian Studios said Patch 7 introduced 13 new cinematics offering “varying conclusions to your most evil playthroughs.” The number refers to cinematics, not to 13 separately identified endings. Larian did not publish a complete scene list or map each cinematic to a particular character or final choice.
The update’s announcement framed the scenes around a range of villainous playthroughs: embracing absolute power, carrying out the Dark Urge’s father’s will, playing as an Origin character, or being “generally a menace to society.” Larian’s Patch 7 announcement is the source for the count and those examples.
Which characters get new evil endings?
Larian explicitly included Origin-character playthroughs and said the improved evil endings also cover non-Dark-Urge players. Its earlier Community Update 28 described the feature as “improved evil endings” and added, “yes, that includes you non-Durge players.”

- Define the future of the Forgotten Realms - through your choices, and the roll of the dice. No matter who you play, or what you roll, the world and its inhabitants will react to your story
- Player-initiated turn-based mode - allows you to pause the world around you at any time even outside of combat. Whether you see an opportunity for a tactical advantage before combat begins, want to pull off a heist with pin-point precision, or need to escape a fiendish trap. Split your party, prepare ambushes, sneak in the darkness -- create your own luck!
Those statements establish broad coverage, not an individual guarantee for each companion or playable character. The official announcements do not name a full roster, say which character gets which scene, or confirm that every character has a unique ending cinematic. The careful reading is that the feature supports multiple kinds of evil playthroughs, including Origin and non-Dark-Urge runs; a character-by-character breakdown is not provided.

The official announcements describe the scenes as part of evil playthrough conclusions, but do not give a universal trigger sequence or explain which route choices lead to each cinematic. They therefore cannot support a claim that one particular final decision guarantees a specific new scene.
