Find the three Barbarian Armor pieces in Crenel Hills Cave (chest piece), Robred Dropoff Cave (helm), and Walnot Mountain Cave (leg wraps). Each is inside a cave chest. You can look for the caves directly; Nintendo Life also connects the set to Misko’s Treasure, but its guide does not establish that the quest is required.
Where to find each Barbarian Armor piece
| Piece | Cave | What to look for |
|---|---|---|
| Barbarian Armor | Crenel Hills Cave, northeastern Hyrule Field | A breakable luminous-stone wall behind the Stone Talus area |
| Barbarian Helm | Robred Dropoff Cave, southeast of Kakariko Village | Statue puzzle rooms; use Ascend at the platform marked by a large statue grouping |
| Barbarian Leg Wraps | Walnot Mountain Cave, south of Retsam Forest and east of Hateno Village | An icy chest beyond the cave enemies |
Guides report differing coordinates for some cave entrances and chests, so the named caves and landmarks are more useful than relying on a single coordinate.
Where do I find the Barbarian Armor in TOTK?
- Enter Crenel Hills Cave in northeastern Hyrule Field.
- Make your way to the Stone Talus chamber. You can sneak past the Talus or fight it; Prima Games says defeating it is not necessary to reach the chest.
- At the back of the chamber, break through the luminous-stone wall to open the hidden route to the chest containing the Barbarian Armor.
Where is the Barbarian Helm?
- Enter Robred Dropoff Cave, southeast of Kakariko Village.
- Follow the direction the statues face through the puzzle rooms. Break red rocks where they block the route and descend into the next chamber.
- In the room with the platform associated with three statues, use Ascend to reach the chest. Nintendo Life and Prima Games both point to the statue arrangement as the clue for this route.
How do I get the Barbarian Leg Wraps?
- Go to Walnot Mountain Cave, south of Retsam Forest and east of Hateno Village.
- Pass the cave enemies and find the opening that leads to an icy chest.
- Melt the ice with a fire-based item. Nintendo Life names Fire Fruit and red Chuchu Jelly; Prima Games also recommends fire-based items such as Fire Fruit.
Do you need to start Misko’s Treasure?
Nintendo Life says the set can be found through Misko’s Treasure or by going directly to the listed caves. Its guide does not specify quest-state prerequisites, so it does not establish whether every piece can be collected directly in every quest state. The cave routes above are the locations to investigate.
