Batman at Immersive Gamebox is a multiplayer, location-based experience—not a home console or PC game. Players visit an Immersive Gamebox venue to solve challenges together in an interactive room themed around Gotham. The partnership was announced in April 2025; for a session now, check the selected venue’s live booking page for availability and local rules.
What is Batman at Immersive Gamebox?
Immersive Gamebox created the experience with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences. It is presented as an augmented-reality action game played inside a venue, where projected environments and interactive walls turn the room into part of the game. The announcement describes 3D motion tracking, projection mapping and touch-sensitive walls; the current product page also refers to motion tracking and touch technology. The sources do not say that players wear headsets.

The story puts Gotham under siege. Players enter the Batcave, gear up and cooperate to take on the threat. Official descriptions include solving puzzles and riddles, climbing buildings, driving the Batmobile and defending Gotham. The featured villains include the Joker, the Riddler, Harley Quinn, Bane and Poison Ivy.

The launch announcement also describes decisions that affect the group’s journey. The emphasis is on shared challenges rather than a solo campaign.
How long is it, and how many people can play?
The current UK English product page lists a 60-minute experience and two or more players. The April 2025 launch announcement described the game as designed for groups of two to six. Those figures come from different source descriptions and may not match every venue’s current booking rules, so use the selected location’s listing to confirm duration and group limits before booking.

What age is it suitable for?
The current UK English page recommends the experience for ages 7 and up. That is guidance on the page, not a guarantee that every venue uses the same admission policy. Check the local booking information for age restrictions and any rules for children attending with adults.
When did it launch, and is it available at my venue?
Immersive Gamebox announced the partnership on April 1, 2025, and said the experience would launch globally at its locations on April 4, 2025. That was the launch plan announced at the time; it does not confirm that every location currently has sessions available. The official Batman at Immersive Gamebox page prompts visitors to select a location and book. Check that location’s current calendar for operating status and session times.

- Select the venue you plan to visit and follow its booking link.
- Confirm that Batman sessions are listed, then review the date, duration, permitted group size, age guidance and any venue-specific requirements shown for that session.
