A July 2025 report said a promotional package sent to creator Doom49 appeared to bear the name “Battlefield 6” and labels for Conquest, Rush, and Breakthrough. That was a leak of an apparent promotional item, not confirmation of the final game or its mode lineup. EA announced the game’s name and reveal-trailer date four days later; Battlefield 6 launched on October 10, 2025.
What did the leaked Battlefield 6 package reportedly show?
On July 18, 2025, Insider Gaming reported that creator Doom49 had shared a post, later deleted, showing an EA promotional package marked “Battlefield 6.” The report described straps labeled Conquest, Rush, and Breakthrough.
Those details describe what the image was reported to show. The package was promotional material sent to a creator, not a retail product, and its labels did not establish that those would be the final modes or the complete launch lineup.
What was still unconfirmed at the time?
In a July 19 follow-up, ComicBook.com noted that the package’s purpose and contents were unclear. An open-beta date and a rumored three-day EA event also lacked official confirmation at that point. The package leak was not evidence for either claim.
