After a death, select the square Spawn Beacon icon on the redeploy screen to use it. The Assault player who placed it destroys it by spawning back on it, so the squad should treat it as a shared, limited resource.
What does the Deploy Beacon do in Battlefield 6?
The Deploy Beacon lets squadmates return to a player-placed forward position instead of redeploying only through the other available options. It can help a squad re-enter a fight or move together from a position closer to the action.
EA described the gadget’s role as supporting frontline flanking and coordinated squad movement, rather than allowing one player to keep a remote spawn location as a lasting advantage. That is the design intent in the Battlefield Team’s August 5, 2025 Open Beta and Road to Launch community update; live-game details may differ as the game changes.
What class has the Deploy Beacon?
The Battlefield Team renamed the Spawn Beacon to Deploy Beacon and moved it from Recon to Assault. In the update, the team said: “We’ve renamed the Spawn Beacon to Deploy Beacon, and it’s now part of the Assault class gadget pool, instead of Recon.”

How do you spawn on a Deploy Beacon?

After you die, open the redeploy screen.

Look for the square Spawn Beacon icon and select it to deploy on the gadget. EA’s Initiation Challenges guide, dated October 10, 2025, uses the older “Spawn Beacon” label for this icon.
The same EA guide also describes selecting a squadmate who is not in combat as a redeploy option. That is a separate choice from selecting the beacon icon.

Why is the beacon a limited resource?
EA says the Deploy Beacon has a finite number of uses per squad and self-destructs if the Assault player who placed it spawns back on it. The team characterized it as a tactical, limited resource rather than a persistent advantage. The update does not state the exact number of uses, so there is no confirmed count to give here.

The official guidance cited here establishes the gadget’s class, its limited-use design, the owner-triggered destruction condition, and how to select its redeploy icon. It does not establish current placement constraints, an exact remaining-use count, or mode-specific restrictions. Those details should not be assumed from the available guidance.
