Battlefield 6 launched on October 10, 2025. EA announced that date on July 31, 2025, and later confirmed the game’s release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
When did Battlefield 6 come out?
Battlefield 6 came out on October 10, 2025. The date is now historical: EA’s July 31, 2025 announcement set the release date, and the company’s launch announcement confirmed that the game arrived on that day.
Which platforms can you play it on?
EA announced Battlefield 6 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Its PC storefront options were Steam, the EA app, and the Epic Games Store. EA’s purchase page links to those platforms’ stores as well as PlayStation and Xbox storefronts.
What comes with each edition?
| Edition | Included content |
|---|---|
| Standard | The base game. |
| Phantom | The base game plus Phantom Squad soldier skins, weapon packages, a vehicle skin, a combat knife skin, and a Battlefield Pro token with battle-pass benefits, as described by EA. |
EA’s purchase page distinguishes Standard and Phantom editions. At launch, EA listed US prices of $69.99 for Standard and $99.99 for Phantom; those are historical launch prices, not current quotes. Check the relevant storefront for your region’s current price and availability. EA describes the purchase as a license to digital content; the sources do not establish whether a physical boxed edition is available.
