Movement and animations
The update aimed to make landings and stance changes smoother, improve vaulting, and reduce unwanted bouncing when landing or spawning. The detailed notes also cover combat dives, ziplines, ladders, melee, prone transitions, aiming, hitboxes, and animation issues.
Weapon handling and dispersion
EA adjusted weapon dispersion to better match each weapon’s intended handling and performance at different ranges. The notes describe a slightly greater dispersion increase while firing for lower-damage weapons and a slightly smaller increase for higher-damage weapons. They also list fixes for attachments and reticle settling.

EA’s September 30, 2025 roadmap described Season 1 as the game’s first major free update and named three phases:
- Rogue Ops: October 28, 2025.
- California Resistance: November 18, 2025.
- Winter Offensive: December 9, 2025.
EA said the roadmap would bring new content, including maps, modes, weapons, vehicles, attachments, and seasonal features. The dates and phase details are in EA’s Season 1 roadmap.
Season 1 is no longer current
The October 2025 schedule is useful as a record of Season 1’s original launch, but it should not be read as current game news. EA’s September 14, 2026 announcement for Update 1.4.3.0 says it deployed September 15 alongside Season 4: Tidal Strike. See EA’s Update 1.4.3.0 announcement.
