The Battlefield 6 free trial announced for Thanksgiving 2025 ran from November 25 through December 2, 2025, and is no longer available. EA described it as limited access to selected maps and modes—not the full game—and named Eastwood as one of the locations.
When did the Battlefield 6 Thanksgiving trial run?
Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios announced the limited trial on November 25, 2025. EA said it would be available across all platforms until December 2, 2025. The event is over; the dates and scope come from EA’s announcement.
What was included?
The trial offered selected maps and modes rather than the complete Battlefield 6 experience. EA specifically named Eastwood as one of the available locations, but its announcement does not establish a complete list of trial content.
Can you still play without buying Battlefield 6?
No—not through the Thanksgiving 2025 trial. EA’s purchase page says players must purchase Battlefield 6 to continue playing after a limited trial. Check that page for current availability and platform-specific purchase routes.

EA’s current terms mention a separate trial dated August 18–25, 2026, which has also ended as of October 8, 2026. That event is distinct from the Thanksgiving 2025 trial and does not establish that EA announced a Thanksgiving 2026 trial. The terms for the August event cite Battlefield REDSEC, updates, an internet connection, and an EA account; they should not be treated as the rules for the 2025 event. See EA’s current trial terms for details.
