Yes. Battlefield 6 added Casual Breakthrough on November 1, 2025, as a lower-pressure Multiplayer option with bots. At launch, matches used 16 human players and 32 bots; human actions earned full XP, while bot actions earned reduced XP. The original map list and reward rules below are launch details, not confirmation of the live setup on October 8, 2026.
What is Casual Breakthrough in Battlefield 6?
Casual Breakthrough is a Battlefield 6 multiplayer mode built around the Breakthrough format, but with bots filling out teams alongside human players. The Battlefield official community announcement said it was intended as “a more relaxed way to play” while still allowing progression and challenge completion. EA placed the mode in the Multiplayer tab when it launched on November 1, 2025. Battlefield official community announcement
That makes it a fit for players who want to learn maps, practice weapons, or play an objective match without the intensity of a full PvP lobby. It is still a multiplayer mode, not a purely offline or solo campaign experience.
How was the mode configured at launch?

What progression and rewards did Casual Breakthrough support?
At launch, the announcement listed Career XP, Weapon XP, Battle Pass XP, and challenge completion as supported. It also distinguished between actions against human players and bots: real-player actions awarded full XP, while bot actions awarded reduced XP. So progression was available, but not every action paid out at the full rate.

EA’s November 2025 update said it was exploring additional maps while balancing player and bot counts, and considering a similar Casual Conquest mode. Those were possibilities under consideration, not commitments. In a 2026 Q&A, EA said it monitors Casual Breakthrough engagement, but published no engagement figure; it also said Casual Battle Royale was being added in Season 3 Phase 3. The documented differences at launch are the player mix and the treatment of progression. Casual Breakthrough included a substantial bot contingent, which EA presented as a way to make the mode more relaxed and give players room to practice. Bot actions earned reduced XP, and the launch announcement excluded dogtags, accolades, and career-stat updates.
