There is no official ranking of the best Among Us skins, and custom skins are not a guaranteed free or supported install. For a reliable free option, check the in-game shop and unlock routes; to choose a look, compare the cosmetics currently shown in your game. Innersloth permits some local appearance modifications under its mod policy, but offers no technical mod support and does not certify third-party skin tools or downloads.
How to choose the best Among Us skin
“Best” is a matter of style: a full-body outfit makes a different impression from a hat, visor, pet, or nameplate. Start with the category you want, preview the item in Among Us, and check its current availability and unlock route in the game. Cosmetics are visual and do not change gameplay, according to Innersloth’s 2021 Cosmicubes announcement.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
The 2026 Indie Cosmicube announcement offers examples rather than a ranked list: Madeline’s Gear Skin, Crasher’s Armor Skin, and The Wimp’s Wardrobe Skin, alongside hats, visors, pets, and nameplates. These items are not a promise of permanent availability; check the in-game shop for what is obtainable now. Innersloth’s announcement says that this returning collection was set to end October 14, 2026, at 7:00 UTC.
Where to find free Among Us skins
Use the official game’s shop and unlock paths first. Innersloth says players can earn Beans by playing. Its 2026 announcement priced the returning Indie Cosmicube at 7,000 Beans, but that dated price and collection window should not be treated as a permanent offer. Availability and costs can change, so verify the current details in-game.

- GET FOUR LARGE AMONG US PLUSHIES THAT KIDS CAN HUG! Unlike small toys and mini toys in the series, these huggable buddies are rather sizeable and cuddly as they stand at about 12 inches. Crewmates come in different colors and with different iconic hats: bear’s ears, medieval helmet, spotted old banana peel, and blue sports hat—just like in the game! An Among Us plushie can be carried around, put in a backpack, or placed into a cradle or stroller—experiment and find other creative ways to use it!
- AMONG US TOY COLLECTIBLES WITH THE TOTAL OF 4 FOR YOU TO COLLECT. Find all these Among Us figures: the brown one wearing bear’s ears, the orange one in a medieval helmet, the green one with an old spotted banana peel on the head, and the red one who’s got his baseball cap on backwards! The Among Us toys figures in the collection all have classic backpacks and visors, and each Among Us plushy represents a popular crewmate character from the game. Collect them all!
- USE THE TOYS AS AMONG US PARTY SUPPLIES. For parents and kids, toys can work as both party décor and entertainment as they bring a mood and a theme to a party and invite children to an activity—just play with them! These Among Us toys for boys and girls can inspire them to have an offline match or two of their own and find the impostor. Throw a simple Among Us party or even an Among Us birthday party with these Among Us toys, and hear your kids happily shout “Emergency Meeting!” now and then.
- GENUINE AMONG US STUFF LICENSED BY THE GAME’S DEVELOPERS. P.M.I., the manufacturer of these Among Us toys, is licensed by InnerSloth, the company that created AmongUs. The Among Us plush large toys are authentic-looking and in line with the game’s original style. Minimalistic as they are, these huggable buddies (check out other collections for small toys) show the producer’s great attention to detail. Spark your children’s interest in the game, or reward them if they’re already fans.
- PERFECT AS AMONG US GIFTS. A whole bag of Among Us plush toys is a great gift idea, especially if your or your friends’ children like the game. It will also come in handy if you’re looking for simple Among Us birthday party supplies, and it can even be used as Among Us party decorations. Get the right pack to help a young Among Us enthusiast complete their collection or start one from scratch. Perhaps, an adult Among Us plushies collector will appreciate the gift, too.
Older announcements are not reliable current price lists. In 2019, Innersloth said PC players got all skins free at that time and described nine skins; this is historical context, not proof that every current cosmetic is free. The 2021 Cosmicubes announcement describes a mix of free and paid options, earnable resources, and branching unlock paths, but does not establish current prices.
Can you create and install a custom Among Us skin?
Innersloth’s policy distinguishes local appearance modifications from changes to functionality on official servers that must be registered when a lobby is created. It does not provide a current, official step-by-step guide for creating or installing custom skins, nor does that policy endorse a particular tool, download, or tutorial. The company says: “No, we do not provide official mod support from within Among Us.”

That policy distinction is not a guarantee that a mod will work online, be safe, or remain compatible after an update. Innersloth says updates may break mods and it does not guarantee fixes. There is therefore no verified universal set of steps to create and install a custom skin for free across platforms and game versions.

Innersloth’s mod policy, last modified July 30, 2026, defines cosmetics to include hats, skins, pets, colors, and display names. It requires mods using Among Us intellectual property to show the specified mod stamp during gameplay and include an IP disclaimer on a mod webpage or GitHub. It prohibits malicious software, unauthorized distribution, and presenting a mod as official or licensed. The policy does not grant intellectual-property rights, may change without notice, and Innersloth does not provide technical mod support. Safer choices than an unverified installer
- Prefer cosmetics offered through the official game and its unlock routes.
- Do not disable security protections to run a skin tool or installer.
- Do not download repackaged game files or a package that includes the base game.
- Do not assume a local appearance mod is approved for every platform, lobby, or online use.
Among Us and Among Us 3D use different cosmetics
Do not apply original Among Us instructions or item examples to Among Us 3D. Innersloth says the 3D game is not compatible with the original and has its own cosmetic system, including hats, gloves, and skins. See Innersloth’s Among Us 3D page for the separate game.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- GET 8 AMONG US FIGURES AT ONCE. These are small toys representing the game’s characters, including the Peeled, the dead body (report it!), the purple impostor (beware of the tongue!), and two unknown extras! The five additional hats include the Knighted, the Cap-tain, and the Floaty Flamingo—and they’re just like in the game! The blister package playfully hides two Among Us toy pieces in it from you—to remind you that there’re always impostors among us. Find out who the impostors are this time!
- AMONG US GIFTS WITH THE TOTAL OF 16 FOR YOU TO COLLECT. Find all these Among Us toys for boys and girls including the four rarities: the purple Punkin head, the cyan Floaty Flamingo head, the red Chop-chop head, and the lime one wearing the Great Goalie (the Jason mask?)—and he’s running! Two of the characters in each deluxe box are hidden impostors whom you can’t see before you open the pack, so the whole deal with collecting this AmongUs stuff turns into a real quest. Collect them all!
- USE THE TOYS AS AMONG US PARTY SUPPLIES. For parents and kids, toys can work as both party décor and entertainment as they bring a mood and a theme to a party and invite children to an activity—just play with them! Minimalistic as they are, these Among Us party favors show the producer’s great attention to detail, like the 5 accessories included in the deluxe box. Spark your children’s interest in the game, or reward them if they’re already fans.
- PERFECT AS AMONG US GIFTS. A whole pack of Among Us merch is a great gift idea, especially if your or your friends’ children have tried out and liked the game.
