The closest browser games to Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies are fan-made rebuilds of its maps, not the original Treyarch game. Start with a Kino der Toten rebuild for the familiar map-and-wave loop; choose Nazi Zombies: Portable if you want classic round-based mechanics on different maps. Other browser zombie games offer wave defense, co-op or shooting, but are looser matches.
Which browser game is closest to Black Ops Zombies?
Fan-made browser rebuilds of Black Ops 1 maps are the closest match in the available listings. A roundup updated October 11, 2026 describes these projects as recreating familiar maps, waves, points economy and starting loadouts with web-based technology. They are not the original game, and their availability can change. Radiant Optimizer’s roundup lists four options:

Foundplay’s browser zombie directory does not establish a consistent performance comparison, so there is no reliable basis here to rank them by graphics or frame rate.

Which should you try first?
Choose Kino der Toten for a recognizable starting point
The October 2026 roundup specifically suggests Kino because it is featured on the BO1 landing page and lists its controls on screen. That is the guide’s recommendation, not a measured consensus. If you want to explore other familiar maps, use the selector or open the separate Moon and Five pages listed there.

Choose Cheese Cube if co-op matters most
Of the four links in that roundup, Cheese Cube is the one it describes as supporting co-op, for up to three friends alongside the player. Player limits and browser availability can change, so check the game page before arranging a session.
What if you want classic rounds but different maps?
Nazi Zombies: Portable (NZ:P) is a separate fan remake inspired by World at War Zombies, not a Black Ops 1 map port. Its host page describes round-based survival with wall buys, a Mystery Box, perks and Pack-a-Punch. It has its own maps, models and sounds rather than the original Black Ops maps. The host’s NZ:P page describes a desktop keyboard-and-mouse web build with an initial download of about 100 MB, cached for return visits. Those access details come from the host page and may change; the page says the project’s source and builds are on GitHub, so use its outbound project link if you want to locate the project itself.

Which other browser zombie games are worth considering?
These choices deliver zombie action, but they are not close substitutes for Black Ops’ first-person, round-based map loop. A roundup updated June 10, 2026 covers a range of browser genres, including wave defense, infection-style battle royale, turn-based survival and third-person shooting. HT Hub’s roundup describes the following examples:

Another directory describes Survive The Night as a co-op zombie FPS for up to 16 players and Der Koloss as solo or four-player wave survival. These are broader browser-zombie options, not documented recreations of Black Ops maps. Foundplay lists them alongside map rebuilds.

Will these games work on a phone?
Do not assume so. The NZ:P host describes its web build as desktop play with keyboard and mouse, and HT Hub labels Horde Killer: You vs 100 desktop-only. The listings do not establish universal mobile support for the Black Ops map rebuilds or the other games; check the particular game page and its controls on your device.

No. The map rebuilds are third-party fan projects, and NZ:P is a separate remake with its own content. A roundup describes the fan rebuilds as recreations rather than Treyarch’s original code; none of the cited listings establish official endorsement. Links and availability may change. Activision’s August 3, 2012 announcement documented an Android adaptation of Black Ops Zombies with solo play and four-player Wi-Fi play at that time. It does not establish current app availability or compatibility, and it is not evidence that any browser rebuild is official. Activision’s archival announcement also rated the original Black Ops “M” (Mature) for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence and Strong Language; that rating should not be applied to every fan project.

- Want Black Ops maps and familiar rounds? Try a Kino der Toten rebuild first, then explore the selector, Moon or Five.
- Want co-op among the listed map rebuilds? Check Cheese Cube’s current page for player availability.
- Want perks, wall buys and a Mystery Box on different maps? Consider NZ:P, while noting its desktop controls and host-described download.
- Want a different kind of browser zombie game? Pick a defense, battle royale, survival RPG or third-person shooter based on its controls and objective.
