1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThere is no sourced, universal ranking of the best romances in Date Everything!—and a dateable character does not always become a lover. If you want a place to start, Betty, Dorian, and Dante are useful discovery picks: you meet them through the bed, a door, and the fireplace, respectively. Treat them as an approachable shortlist, not an official top three.
Who can you date in Date Everything!?
Date Everything! is a sandbox dating simulator set in your home. Magical Dateviator glasses let you encounter personified objects and concepts, from household fixtures to more abstract ideas. The official game site describes a roster of 100 fully voice-acted datable characters; Steam says relationships can develop into lovers, friends, or enemies. So meeting a character—or even pursuing one—does not guarantee a romance outcome.

The official figure is 100. A third-party character directory lists 102, but the sources do not explain the discrepancy. The directory count should not be treated as a correction to the official site’s figure.

These are practical starting points based on documented discovery interactions, not a route-quality ranking. The suggestions are limited examples, not a complete list of the game’s romance choices.
#1 Best Overall
- 100 Datable Characters
- Fully Voice Acted
- Branching Narratives
- At Least 3 Endings Per Dateable Character
- Puns Galore!
| Character | Where to find them | Why start here |
|---|---|---|
| Betty | Interact with the bed | A straightforward household-object encounter for players curious about the game’s domestic premise. |
| Dorian | Interact with a door | A simple object-based discovery if you want to see how the game turns an everyday fixture into a character. |
| Dante | Interact with the fireplace | Another easy-to-understand starting point: explore a familiar feature of the home and see where its character route goes. |
The discovery examples come from Pro Game Guides’ romance guide, updated June 18, 2025. They establish how to find these characters, not that players rate their routes above others.
How to choose a route that suits you
With a large cast and no substantiated best-of ranking, the useful question is what kind of character you want to meet. Use these as personal selection criteria, not claims about which routes are most popular or best written.
Rank #2
- With the deluxe edition there is simply more of everything to extend your Date Everything adventure:
- Michael Transaction – the dateable micro-transaction! We gacha covered, Lucinda Lavish – the dateable deluxe edition herself
- Fantastic Red Shirt – an unlockable option to be wearing a shirt that will sometimes be commented on by the dateables in a positive manner
- Phone Backgrounds – Customizable phone menu with 26 new background covers to add a little… personality!
- Artbook - Concept art for all 102 characters, plus never-before-seen costumes and collectables, OST - 4 hours of every genre under the sun!
- Pick a discovery that sounds fun. The bed, door, and fireplace give you concrete first interactions. If exploring the home is part of the appeal, choose an object you are curious about.
- Look for a premise you like. The cast includes household objects and abstract concepts, so your preferred kind of character may matter more than a ranking.
- Be open to outcomes beyond romance. Steam describes possible lover, friend, or enemy relationships; the word “dateable” does not promise a romantic ending.
- Keep exploring if someone is unavailable. Some characters unlock only after you progress or improve a relationship with specific characters, according to the Pro Game Guides. A locked route is not evidence that the character is absent from the game.
What the recommendations can—and cannot—tell you
The available character guide documents discovery methods and progression gates, but it does not compare route writing or establish player preferences. That makes Betty, Dorian, and Dante helpful entry points for exploration, not objectively superior romances. If you are looking for a particular tone—such as comedy, coziness, or earnest drama—check the character’s premise in play rather than relying on an unsupported route label.
