There is no verified “best” graphics preset for Crimson Moon on PC: the published requirements do not promise a frame rate, resolution, or preset, and no official settings guide or tested comparison is available. Use the game’s actual options and your own performance target to tune it, rather than treating the minimum or recommended hardware as an FPS guarantee.

What settings should you use for more FPS?

Start with the graphics options available in your current game build, then adjust one setting at a time while checking performance in the same scene. If the game offers an upscaling option, test its available modes at your chosen resolution and keep the mode that best balances clarity and responsiveness for you. AMD says FSR is intended to help maintain visual detail and atmosphere while delivering a responsive PC experience, but it does not identify an optimal mode or publish performance figures for Crimson Moon (AMD’s Crimson Moon page).

Because verified setting values and benchmark comparisons are not available, specific recommendations for shadows, effects, image quality, or individual GPUs would be guesses. The best choice depends on the options in your build, your hardware, resolution, and personal preference.

Crimson Moon PC system requirements

Steam lists these minimum and recommended specifications. They are store-published requirements, not independently tested benchmarks, and do not specify a resolution, graphics preset, or guaranteed frame rate (Steam’s Crimson Moon listing).

What the published information does—and does not—tell you

  • Requirements provide a hardware reference, not an FPS target. Neither Steam tier states a tested frame rate, resolution, or preset.
  • FSR is mentioned, but no mode is prescribed. AMD’s description is a general positioning statement, not a measured comparison or a recommendation for a particular GPU or resolution.
  • Settings-specific guidance remains unavailable. The published information does not establish which graphics settings or presets appear in the current PC build, suggested values for individual options, or whether a later patch changed performance.

A practical way to tune your own setup

  1. Check the current options menu. Note which graphics settings and any upscaling modes are actually present in your build; do not assume a specific menu or option is available.
  2. Choose your priority. Decide whether you value image clarity, visual effects, or smoother performance most.
  3. Change one option at a time. Compare in the same gameplay scene so the difference is easier to judge.
  4. Test upscaling only if it is offered. Compare the available modes at your chosen resolution and select according to your own image-quality and responsiveness preference.
  5. Recheck after updates. Settings availability or performance may change with a later game patch.
