PAC’s Black Arrow is the clearest move-based marker separating his aerial identity from the signature moves WWE lists for Ricochet and Rey Mysterio. Will Ospreay, meanwhile, is promoted as the “Aerial Assassin,” but the official profile reviewed here does not name a signature move. These distinctions make for a useful comparison of presentation and recognizable moves—not a defensible ranking of who flies higher, faster, or better.
What move makes each wrestler recognizable?
| Wrestler | Documented move or moves | What the evidence establishes |
|---|---|---|
| PAC | Black Arrow | Fightful reported in October 2026 that Will Ospreay used PAC’s finisher against Ricochet. AEW’s PAC profile lists his billed origin as Newcastle, England, but its biography and signature-move fields are blank. |
| Ricochet | 630 Splash; Recoil | WWE lists both as signature moves. |
| Rey Mysterio | 619; West Coast Pop | WWE lists both as signature moves. |
| Will Ospreay | No signature move named in the reviewed AEW profile | AEW bills Ospreay as the “Aerial Assassin”; that moniker is a presentation cue, not a listed move. |
The Black Arrow is strongly associated with PAC: in Fightful’s October 1, 2026 report on Ospreay using it against Ricochet, Ospreay said, “I haven’t performed the Black Arrow for 8 years.” He also described practicing before the show. That episode is evidence of a specific tribute performance and the move’s association with PAC; it does not establish that the Black Arrow is PAC’s only current move.
For the names and official descriptions, see the AEW PAC profile, WWE Ricochet profile, and WWE Rey Mysterio profile. The reported Ospreay tribute is covered by Fightful.
What kind of aerial impression does each profile emphasize?
PAC: a defining finisher, with limited official profile detail
The Black Arrow gives viewers a recognizable point of comparison, but AEW’s current PAC profile does not supply a biography or move list beyond his billed origin. It is therefore more accurate to compare PAC through the documented finisher than to claim the profile establishes a broader aerial style, a particular level of speed, or how often he uses aerial offense.

Ricochet: speed and aerial ability
WWE’s profile explicitly describes Ricochet through speed and aerial ability, alongside its listing of the 630 Splash and Recoil. Those are WWE’s promotional characterizations, not measurements from a controlled comparison. Ricochet has also described his influences in his own words: “Well, my style is a combination of all my favorite wrestlers growing up, between AJ Styles, Matt Sydal (aka Evan Bourne), Amazing Red, Jack Evans and a lot of The Rock.” The statement appeared in a WWE interview published April 19, 2018; it describes influences, not a claim that those performers share one identical style. Read the WWE interview.
Rey Mysterio: aerial identity alongside lucha libre
WWE connects Mysterio’s profile to training in the Mexican tradition of lucha libre and lists the 619 and West Coast Pop as signature moves. That context distinguishes his documented presentation from a comparison based only on spectacular aerial maneuvers. It does not mean every move he performs follows one uniform style.

Will Ospreay: the “Aerial Assassin” billing
AEW’s profile gives Ospreay the “Aerial Assassin” moniker and says he joined the company full-time in March 2024. It records 22 AEW men’s singles wins in 2024, a company-reported season figure that provides career context but says nothing by itself about aerial skill. The profile reviewed does not name a signature move. See the AEW Will Ospreay profile.

Official profiles are useful for billed origins, listed signature moves, and how a promotion presents a wrestler. They are not neutral, comprehensive move databases, and a blank field is not evidence that a wrestler lacks signature moves. In this case, WWE supplies named moves for Ricochet and Mysterio, while the reviewed AEW profiles provide Ospreay’s moniker and PAC’s billed origin but do not furnish comparable move lists or equally detailed style descriptions.

Match viewing can add the details a short profile cannot: how a wrestler sets up a move, where aerial offense fits into a match, how it affects the pace, and how an opponent responds. Those are observations to make from specific matches, not established by the profile descriptions alone. The available sources do not provide a systematic sample of matches or comparable statistics for aerial-move frequency, success rate, speed, height, or risk. A claim that one wrestler is objectively more precise or more athletic would need a defined match sample and method, not just a billed nickname or a signature-move list.
