Sneak Out
Steam describes Sneak Out as a free-to-play 5v1 horror hide-and-seek game set in a haunted castle. Its clearly defined one-versus-five setup makes it the most direct fit here for a group seeking a hunter-and-hiders structure. The listing does not, by itself, confirm present availability or whether matchmaking is active in your region.
Puppet: Hide And Seek
Puppet: Hide And Seek is described on Steam as a 7v1 multiplayer horror match. One player takes the Killer role while seven Survivors try to escape. That escape objective distinguishes it from simple concealment: the hunted players need to evade the threat while working toward getting out.

Deceit 2
Deceit 2 is a related choice rather than a pure hide-and-seek game. Its official site frames it as online social-deduction horror, while Xbox lists online multiplayer for 4–9 players and describes the Innocent team’s goal as surviving, completing tasks, and escaping. The tension comes from working out whom to trust as well as avoiding danger, so choose it if your group enjoys suspicion and deception alongside evasion.
Horror Hunt
Steam describes Horror Hunt as multiplayer-only and combines hide-and-seek horror with prop transformation and stealth. That makes it relevant to players who want disguises as part of the chase. The available listing information does not establish whether it is currently playable or has active matchmaking, so verify its present status before treating it as a dependable group option.

A prop-hunt option inside Garry’s Mod
Garry’s Mod Prop Hunt
Facepunch documents Prop Hunt as a Garry’s Mod mode in which Hunters search for players disguised as environmental props. It is not a standalone horror game, and the horror atmosphere depends on the map and server chosen. Because it is a community mode, the actual experience can vary with the server rather than being a single fixed game.

Five candidates have enough description here to explain their formats, but that is not enough to substantiate ten current recommendations. Propnight appears in a Steam community result as a multiplayer hide-and-seek game, but that result does not establish present availability or server activity. Dead by Daylight is a prominent asymmetric multiplayer horror game, but the cited coverage does not establish it as a dedicated hide-and-seek title. Neither should be presented as a confirmed direct pick on that evidence alone.
