Jade / The Herta / Tribbie / Lingsha is the best-supported general-purpose team in current character guides. For Pure Fiction and other fights with multiple enemies, Jade also pairs well with Herta or Himeko, whose frequent AoE attacks help her build Charge. These are practical, guide-backed recommendations—not a universal ranking: enemy count, attack frequency, available supports and sustains, and Jade’s Eidolon level all affect which lineup fits best.
Jade teams ranked by where they fit
The ranking below prioritizes how consistently each team can make use of Jade’s follow-up attack, rather than claiming a controlled damage comparison across every encounter. The Herta lineup has the clearest support as a general recommendation; Herta and Himeko are particularly useful options for multi-enemy content.
| Rank | Team | Best fit | Why it works |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Jade / The Herta / Tribbie / Lingsha | General recommendation when these characters are available | Both StarGuide and HSR Build support this core. The Herta and Jade provide the damage pairing, while Tribbie and Lingsha fill support and sustain roles. Sources: StarGuide and HSR Build. |
| 2 | Jade / Herta / support / sustain | Pure Fiction and other multi-enemy fights | Herta’s frequent AoE follow-ups can help Jade build Charge. The sources do not establish a mandatory support-and-sustain pair for the remaining slots. Source: Prydwen. |
| 3 | Jade / Himeko / support / sustain | Wave-based or AoE encounters where Himeko can attack often | Himeko is another strong multi-enemy partner in Prydwen’s Jade synergy discussion. This option is not established as better than the The Herta lineup in every mode. Source: Prydwen. |
1. Jade / The Herta / Tribbie / Lingsha
This is the strongest general recommendation supported by the available guides, which converge on The Herta, Tribbie, and Lingsha as Jade’s partners. HSR Build also describes a The Herta team with Tribbie and Lingsha, with Jade taking The Herta’s place in that composition. Treat it as a well-supported starting lineup, not a proven best team for every enemy lineup or account.
Its main advantage for Jade is the chance to combine frequent attacks with broad enemy coverage. How well it performs still depends on the fight and whether these characters are the best available choices in your roster.

#1 Best Overall
- Honkai: Star Rail Fugue 1/8 Figure Stellar Luck Ver.
2. Jade / Herta / support / sustain
Herta is a practical partner when a stage has multiple enemies. Prydwen highlights her frequent, fully AoE follow-ups as a good fit for Jade: attacks by Jade’s designated Debt Collector help trigger Jade’s Charge-based follow-up, and hitting more enemies can make that engine more productive.
The support and sustain slots are flexible. The cited guides do not specify one required pair for this variant, so choose them around the encounter and your available roster rather than treating a particular combination as part of a fixed ranking.

3. Jade / Himeko / support / sustain
Himeko offers another AoE-oriented pairing for multi-enemy stages and waves, especially when the encounter lets her attack frequently. As with the Herta variant, use the remaining slots to cover the fight’s support and survival needs.
The available guides support Himeko as a Jade synergy, but do not establish a controlled comparison showing that she consistently outperforms The Herta or Herta. Her place in the ranking is therefore an alternative for the right fight, not a universal damage verdict.

What makes a Jade team work
Choose a Debt Collector who attacks often
Jade’s Skill designates an ally as the Debt Collector. Her Talent grants Charge when Jade or that ally attacks enemies; at 8 Charge, Jade consumes the stacks and launches an AoE follow-up. A frequent attacker gives her more opportunities to build Charge, while an attack that reaches multiple enemies can improve the fit for multi-target encounters. These are in-game mechanics described by HSR Build’s Jade guide: HSR Build.
Match the lineup to enemy count
Jade’s follow-up hits all enemies, making multi-enemy stages such as Pure Fiction a natural fit. With fewer targets, Charge generation can slow, so a partner’s attack frequency and Jade’s Eidolon level matter more. A strong AoE partner is not automatically the best choice in a low-target fight.

Account for E1
HSR Build’s guide reproduces the in-game E1 values: Jade’s Talent follow-up damage increases by 32%, and she gains extra Charge when the Debt Collector hits one or two enemies. That makes E1 especially relevant to team performance in fights with fewer targets; it does not remove the need to consider attack frequency and the rest of the lineup. Source: HSR Build.

- Start with Jade / The Herta / Tribbie / Lingsha if you have the full lineup and want the clearest guide-backed general option.
- Use Herta when the stage has multiple enemies and her frequent AoE follow-ups can help Jade build Charge.
- Use Himeko when the encounter’s waves and AoE opportunities suit her attack pattern.
- Reconsider the pairing in low-target fights, where Jade gains fewer opportunities from multi-enemy attacks; E1 improves her follow-up damage and adds Charge in one- or two-target cases.
Character guides are not official universal rankings, and current endgame lineups can change. The evidence supports these team roles and options, but does not establish one optimal lineup for every cycle, account, or enemy formation.
