Shape and hand fit should come first; weight, connection type, controls and price help narrow the choice. The current evidence supports two concrete candidates—the Razer Viper V3 Pro and Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2—but not a verified ranking of 15 mice. Treat player-gear lists as snapshots, not proof that a particular mouse will improve aim or win games.
What matters when choosing a Fortnite mouse
Shape and hand fit
A mouse can have impressive specifications and still feel wrong in your hand. Consider its shape and dimensions alongside your hand size and grip preference before prioritizing sensor figures or player popularity.
Weight and connection
Compare the mouse’s weight and whether it is wired or wireless. For the Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2, Logitech lists a weight of about 63 g (2.22 oz); this is the manufacturer’s figure, not an independent measurement. Logitech G product page
Controls and specifications
Check the number and placement of programmable buttons, onboard controls, sensor details, DPI range and polling rate for the exact model and variant you are considering. A higher DPI or polling rate is not evidence by itself that a mouse will make you more accurate or improve your play.

Price and availability
Prices and availability vary by market and retailer. Compare the live price for the exact model and variant in your region rather than relying on an undated or general product mention.
Two supported candidates to consider
Razer Viper V3 Pro
Razer’s US product page identifies the Viper V3 Pro as an ultralight wireless esports mouse. A Fortnite-specific gear guide also discusses the Viper family, making this a relevant candidate—but those sources do not establish that it is the best choice for every player or provide a hands-on comparison. Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2
Logitech G lists the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 as a LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming mouse and reports a weight of about 63 g. The model is also discussed in a Fortnite gear guide. How to interpret Fortnite player-gear lists
Gear lists can show which products appear in the configurations a guide tracks, but they do not show that every player uses the same mouse or that a listed model will suit your hand. ProSettings’ October 2026 guide title refers to 339 pro players; its search result separately reports “Used by 80 Fortnite players (Oct, 2026).” Those are differently scoped figures and should not be combined into one count. ProAiming’s guide, reported as updated in August 2026, describes a database of more than 300 pro-player configurations. It reports 61 configurations (19%) for the Viper V3 Pro and 22 (7%) for the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2. These are counts within that guide’s database, not a census of all Fortnite players. Does higher DPI help in Fortnite?
Logitech’s mouse guide says players in battle royale games who scan and turn often might prefer a higher-DPI mouse. That is a preference cue, not a requirement to use a particular DPI or a claim that higher DPI inherently improves accuracy. A practical shortlist checklist
- Check shape and dimensions against your hand size and preferred grip.
- Compare weight and whether the connection is wired or wireless.
- Review buttons, sensor specifications, DPI range and polling rate for the exact variant.
- Confirm regional availability and the current price from a retailer.
- Separate manufacturer specifications, independent testing and player-usage reports; they answer different questions.
Tom’s Guide’s 2026 roundup reports up to 32,000 DPI and a 4,000 Hz polling rate for a mouse in its coverage. Those figures should be checked against the exact product variant before using them to compare Fortnite mice; they do not establish that those numbers make a player better.
