Choose Sunday for action advance
HSR-Build assigns Sunday an action-advance role, letting Mydei take turns sooner. This is the clearest choice if you want that support function and have Sunday available.

Icy Veins describes Cyrene’s Ultimate as triggering Mydei’s Godslayer Be God attack and boosting his CRIT DMG. Pocket Tactics also features her in its recommended team. The cited guides do not provide a controlled head-to-head comparison, so there is no established universal winner between Cyrene and Sunday.

Why Tribbie and a healer fit the team
Tribbie adds offensive support
Prydwen credits Tribbie with damage amplification Mydei does not already have, including damage-taken amplification and resistance penetration. She appears in both of the cited four-character recommendations, making her the most consistent support choice across them.
Healing supports Mydei’s HP-based kit
HSR-Build describes Mydei as a five-star Imaginary Destruction main damage dealer whose attacks spend his HP. Prydwen explains that stronger healing can allow more HP to be consumed by Mydei’s skills and Light Cone effect, generating more charges. This is why the recommended lineups include a sustain rather than treating healing as an afterthought.
Sustain and lower-cost substitutions
Hyacine is the sustain in both recommended teams. Prydwen also discusses Huohuo, Luocha, and Gallagher as healing options. Choose a healer available to your account and suited to the encounter; the cited guides do not establish a complete ranking of these alternatives.
