The Kraken Kitty V3 X uses a standard 3.5 mm connection. When you want USB
The Kraken Kitty V2 connects over USB. Razer’s FAQ says the connection works with PC and PS4, but its 7.1 surround sound is specified only for Windows 10 64-bit. A USB connection that carries audio does not mean that the same spatial processing is available on a console.

The V2 Pro also uses USB, specifically USB-A for audio. If your device has only USB-C, check adapter compatibility before buying rather than assuming the lighting or audio features will behave identically through an adapter.
When wireless convenience matters
The Kraken Kitty V3 Pro is the pink wireless candidate in this list. PC Gamer’s review describes clearer sound over 2.4 GHz than Bluetooth in its test setup, alongside brief Bluetooth interruptions. Treat that comparison as the reviewer’s experience with the tested sample and environment, not a promise about every headset, device, or connection.

What “surround” and spatial audio actually tell you
“7.1 surround” and “DTS Headphone:X 2.0” are advertised processing features, not proof that a headset will sound more immersive to every listener. Virtual surround uses processing to represent spatial cues over headphones; results can depend on the software, operating system, game audio, and device. The product descriptions establish manufacturer claims, not a controlled comparison between these models.
- Kraken Kitty V2: Razer limits the listed 7.1 surround feature to Windows 10 64-bit. Do not assume it applies to PS4 or other platforms simply because the headset’s USB audio works there.
- Kraken Kitty V3 X: Razer advertises 7.1 surround, but the broad 3.5 mm compatibility statement alone does not establish identical surround processing on every connected device.
- Logitech G733: Logitech lists DTS Headphone:X 2.0 and says advanced surround features require G HUB. Confirm that G HUB and the relevant feature suit your computer setup.

For a simple wired setup: Kraken Kitty V3 X
Choose the V3 X if you want a pink wired headset and your device has a compatible 3.5 mm input. Razer lists a cardioid microphone, hybrid fabric and leatherette cushions, and a weight of 270 g. These specifications help describe the headset, but they do not establish how comfortable it will feel during a long session.

For USB and a Windows surround feature: Kraken Kitty V2
The V2 combines 40 mm TriForce drivers, a HyperClear cardioid microphone, hybrid fabric and leatherette cushions, and RGB. Its strongest qualification is also important: Razer’s stated 7.1 feature is for Windows 10 64-bit. If spatial processing on another device is your priority, do not select it on the assumption that the feature carries over.
For interchangeable ears and RGB: Kraken Kitty V2 Pro
The V2 Pro includes Kitty, Bear, and Bunny ear attachments that can be interchanged. Razer says its RGB is controlled through Synapse 3; stream-reactive lighting requires the Streamer Companion App. The audio connection is USB-A, so check your available ports as well as whether you want the extra styling and lighting options.

For wireless use: Kraken Kitty V3 Pro
The V3 Pro is the option to consider if avoiding a cable matters more than choosing among wired connectors. In addition to the connection observations above, PC Gamer noted a long charging time and no fast charging in its review. Its microphone was described as very clear in that same review, a useful observation for voice chat rather than a guarantee of performance in every environment.
For a lilac alternative: Logitech G733
The G733 is not pink, but its lilac colorway may work if your priority is a pastel headset rather than an exact pink match. Logitech lists PRO-G drivers and DTS Headphone:X 2.0, with advanced surround features requiring G HUB. Colorful straps and microphone covers are separate accessories, not included color options to assume in the box.
