There is no single best loot spot in ARC Raiders: choose Dam Battlegrounds for broad material runs, Spaceport’s Rocket Assembly for Expedition Exodus materials, Buried City’s Space Travel Building for technology and weapon-related loot, or Spaceport Launch Towers for a riskier locker-and-medical run. These are guide-based starting points, not guaranteed drops or a tested ranking; the right choice depends on your target, map condition, spawn, squad and exit plan.
Which map should you choose?

The location recommendations come from third-party guides rather than an official current loot table. A listed category or item means a place is worth considering, not that a raid will produce it.

Dam Battlegrounds: flexible material runs
Dam Battlegrounds is the strongest starting point when you want coverage across several common material categories rather than one named item. An Expedition guide describes the map as unlocked by default, quick to cross and useful for many of its listed Expedition materials. Its practical advice is to pick two or three valuable buildings, loot them, then extract instead of roaming the whole map. AllThingsHow’s Expedition materials guide supplies the location categories.

- Research & Administration: commercial and technological.
- Generator Hall: general loot.
- Power Generation Complex: electrical and industrial.
- Water Treatment Control: industrial and mechanical.
- Testing Annex: medical and commercial.
These are guide classifications, not published chances or assurances about what a container will contain. For orientation, the Dam Battlegrounds community map lists 21 weapon crates, four security lockers and nine field crates, alongside high- and medium-loot zones. It identifies itself as an unofficial community resource, so treat its markers as planning aids rather than current official spawn data.

Rocket Assembly for Exodus materials
If Expedition Exodus materials are the goal, go directly to Rocket Assembly. The Expedition guide identifies it for Exodus Modules, Magnetic Accelerators, Frequency Mod Boxes and Ion Sputters, and recommends avoiding unrelated high-tier detours when making this run. That keeps the route focused, but does not make any listed item a guaranteed spawn.
Launch Towers for lockers and medical loot
A farming guide describes Launch Towers as high risk and high reward. It lists a Green Locker on the first floor and medical Blue Multi Drawers on the top floor, and says the Launch Tower Loot map condition boosts the area. The same guide warns of PvP traffic and elite ARC patrols on Spaceport. Only prioritize the towers when the active condition and your raid situation make the trip worthwhile; these claims are guide recommendations, not independently confirmed current loot rules. The farming guide’s location notes provide the specific container and danger descriptions.

Space Travel Building for technology and weapon parts
The sixth-floor barricaded room is the focused option for technology and weapon-related loot. A farming guide lists complex gun parts and Combat Mk.III augments there, with Showstopper blueprints and glow sticks as rare drops. Reaching it may require breaching or finding another way in, so weigh the access cost and exposure against the value of the target. Do not assume the named rare drops will appear in a particular raid.

The Expedition guide classifies Hospital as high medical loot, Space Travel as high commercial and technological loot, and Town Hall as high Old World loot. A July 2026 guide also describes Hospital as a medical and blueprint stop and Space Travel as a dense technology location, while noting PvP risk near some POIs. These labels help narrow a search, but neither source establishes consistent item spawns. The Expedition location guide and Playnews’ July 19, 2026 map guide offer category-level route context.
Other maps worth considering
If your target does not fit the three main options, use the location categories as a starting filter rather than treating them as a ranking. The Expedition guide covers six maps: Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, The Blue Gate, Stella Montis and Riven Tides.
- The Blue Gate: Pilgrim’s Peak is listed as high loot for technological and electrical categories; Checkpoint is listed for mechanical loot.
- Stella Montis: Cultural Archives, Medical Research and Seed Vault are listed as high-rarity locations. The guide describes the map as indoor with high PvP density and characterizes Seed Vault as comparatively low risk.
- Riven Tides: Hotel Panorama Azzurro and Port Authority Building are listed as high-rarity POIs.
These are guide classifications, not objective spawn odds. The July 2026 Playnews guide also recommends comparing loot, difficulty, extraction and squad composition when picking among maps.

Build a loot run around the exit, not just the POI
- Name the target. Start with a specific item or category, then pick a POI associated with it. Broad labels such as “high tech” do not guarantee a particular item.
- Check the map condition. For example, the Launch Towers recommendation is specifically tied to the Launch Tower Loot condition.
- Plan from your spawn. Check the route to your target and identify a primary and backup extraction before committing. One farming guide recommends limiting a run to three or four high-density locations at most; treat that as a route suggestion, not a universal optimum.
- Match the route to your group. The same guide suggests solo runs on Dam Battlegrounds or Buried City and squad runs on Spaceport or The Blue Gate. That is a guide’s recommendation, not a rule: a squad can defend a dangerous POI, while a solo player may prefer fewer contested stops.
- Leave when the route turns bad. If another squad contests the area or ARC pressure makes the approach costly, switch to your backup route or extract rather than fighting for a container you do not need. The guide advises avoiding unnecessary combat and leaving high-danger zones with a safety buffer; its timing advice is not a verified universal rule.
Use interactive maps carefully
Interactive maps can help locate POIs, filter for items and account for floor differences before a raid. ARC Intel’s interactive map says its data is community-verified and cross-referenced against patch notes, and describes item filtering and map-floor tools. It does not show an update timestamp for each spawn pin, so verify important markers against current patch notes and what you see in-game. The Dam Battlegrounds community map is another orientation aid, not an official guarantee of current spawns.
How to decide between a short loop and a broad sweep
A direct route to a target POI gives you fewer stops and a clearer extraction decision; a wider sweep may cover more categories but also increases exposure and time spent in the raid. Guides favor short, planned loops, but there is no controlled efficiency comparison establishing one approach as universally better. Choose the smallest route that gives you a reasonable shot at the item you want, and expand it only if the map state and exit remain favorable.
