For a natural right winger, Bukayo Saka is the clearest high-rated pick in the cited FC 25 listings: FUTWIZ lists him at 88 OVR and 90 potential as an RW. For the highest listed current rating among these right-sided options, Mohamed Salah is 91/91—but listed as an RM. For a long-term save, consider Lamine Yamal or prospects such as Arda Güler, Johan Bakayoko, Geovany Quenda, Semih Kılıçsoy and Matías Soulé.
How to read FC 25 OVR and potential
OVR is a player’s listed overall rating; potential (POT) is the database’s listed growth ceiling, not a guarantee of the rating a player will reach in your save. Career Mode development depends on the save, and the cited player lists do not establish in-save growth outcomes.

The figures below are attributed to their source because player databases and editorial guides can reflect different snapshots. FUTWIZ’s FC 25 Career Mode pages list player ratings, potential, positions and other player details. FUTWIZ FC 25 Career Mode players and FUTWIZ FC 25 wonderkids.
Best established right-sided choices
| Player | Listing | Why consider him |
|---|---|---|
| Bukayo Saka | FUTWIZ: 88 OVR, 90 POT; RW; age 23; left foot | A high-rated natural RW and the most straightforward fit if you want the position explicitly listed as RW. |
| Mohamed Salah | FUTWIZ: 91 OVR, 91 POT; RM; age 33 | The highest listed current rating among these right-sided choices. He is listed as an RM rather than a pure RW, and his age leaves a shorter development horizon than the younger prospects. |
| Savinho | FUTWIZ wonderkid listing: 82 OVR, 87 POT; RW; left foot | A young, already capable RW option, though his listed potential is below the other prospects highlighted here. |
FIFA Index also places Salah at the top of its FC 25 combined winger ranking, with Vini Jr. at 90 and Saka at 88. That ranking groups LW, RW, LM, RM, LF and RF, so it is context for overall winger quality rather than a right-wing-only comparison. FIFA Index FC 25 best winger rankings.

Right-wing prospects for a longer save
FourFourTwo’s FC 25 wonderkid guide provides a distinct earlier snapshot for several prospects. Its figures should not be merged with FUTWIZ’s listings as though they were one definitive set of ratings. FourFourTwo’s FC 25 wonderkid guide.
| Player | FourFourTwo listing | Squad-planning note |
|---|---|---|
| Lamine Yamal | 81 OVR, 94 POT; age 16 | That guide places him in its right-winger section. FUTWIZ’s current wonderkid listing instead shows him as an RM, age 18, at 86 OVR and 95 POT. Use the source-specific figures rather than treating either snapshot as a universal in-save rating. |
| Arda Güler | 78 OVR, 90 POT; age 19 | FourFourTwo lists him among its right-wing prospects. Check his in-game position eligibility and role fit before treating him as a pure RW. |
| Johan Bakayoko | 79 OVR, 88 POT; age 21 | The highest starting OVR among the FourFourTwo prospects listed here with 88 potential. |
| Matías Soulé | 77 OVR, 88 POT; age 21 | Starts above Kılıçsoy and Quenda in that snapshot, with the same listed potential. |
| Semih Kılıçsoy | 72 OVR, 88 POT; age 18 | A lower starting rating than Soulé, but a younger option with the same listed potential in the guide. |
| Geovany Quenda | 70 OVR, 88 POT; age 17 | The lowest listed starting OVR among these prospects, making him a longer development project rather than an immediate elite starter. |
Why Lamine Yamal’s figures differ
FUTWIZ lists Yamal at 86 OVR and 95 POT, age 18, with RM as his primary listed position. FourFourTwo’s guide lists him at 81 OVR and 94 POT, age 16, in a right-winger table. Those are different source snapshots, not a single rating progression verified across Career Mode saves. The database listings do not establish what rating he will reach in a particular save.

Choose the right player for your save
- Need a natural RW now? Start with Saka’s listing and check the player’s in-game position and role compatibility.
- Want the highest listed current rating? Salah is listed at 91 OVR, but as an RM; decide whether that role suits your system and account for his age.
- Building around long-term potential? Compare Yamal’s source-specific listings with the prospect group’s starting OVR, potential and age rather than choosing on POT alone.
- Check player fit: FUTWIZ exposes age, position, contract, skill moves, weak foot and preferred foot alongside OVR and POT. A left-footed player such as Saka or Savinho may suit a different attacking pattern from a player whose foot preference differs.
- Check your constraints in-game: Compare squad need, transfer budget, player role and how much time you have to develop a signing. The cited lists do not establish save-specific transfer fees, and they are not evidence of guaranteed growth.
