Late-game damage build: Charnon Permanent Twilight
This setup is built around keeping Sciel in Twilight long enough to apply and consume Foretell for damage. The guide describing it was checked against patch v1.5.6 on August 31, 2026, and updated September 1, 2026. Gamer Headlines’ Sciel build guide calls it Permanent Twilight.

- Weapon: Charnon, the late-game damage choice in the cited guides.
- Attributes: Prioritize Defense and Luck, then invest in Might or Agility as the weapon’s scaling and your needs suggest. Treat this as an order of priorities, not a fixed point-by-point allocation.
- Skills and loop: Set up Foretell with Sun and Moon actions, build both charge types to trigger Twilight, and use Twilight Dance to extend the window. Then consume Foretell with a suitable payoff attack. The support-focused guide names Sealed Fate as a single-target payoff and Final Path as a Twilight extension option; fit either into your loadout only if it suits your current weapon and role.
Defense is part of the recommendation, not a reason to ignore weapon scaling or survivability. A stat spread copied from a late-game setup may not suit a lower-level Sciel or a different weapon.
How Foretell and Twilight make the build work
Sciel’s build is a combat sequence, not just an attribute spread. Sun skills apply Foretell and generate Sun charges; Moon skills consume Foretell and generate Moon charges. Once both charge types are present, Sciel enters Twilight. In that state, she improves damage and Foretell application, and consuming Foretell creates the damage payoff. Hack the Minotaur’s Sciel guide describes this core loop and is marked up to date for Update 1.5.0.

Keep enough AP generation to carry out the opening sequence, and enough durability to survive if you do not consistently avoid or parry incoming attacks. The right balance depends on your gear and comfort with the game’s defenses.
Support Sciel: prioritize turn order and team tempo
If Sciel’s job is to help the party rather than maximize her own Twilight damage, build around acting early and supporting allies. Hack the Minotaur prioritizes Agility, then Luck, with Might as a later damage investment. Its support weapon choice is Litheson, which grants allies Greater Rush, applies Greater Slow to enemies, and helps with AP generation.

This is a different role, not a weaker version of the damage setup. Agility helps Sciel take an early turn to establish support effects; the value of that opening depends on your party, available AP, and encounter.

Adapt the build to your progression
Use the strongest weapon currently available to Sciel and allocate attributes around its actual scaling. Keep enough AP generation to execute your opening, and adjust durability to your defensive playstyle. A late-game allocation is not a universal recipe for an earlier character.
Pictos and Luminas also affect what a build can do. Pictos provide stat boosts and passives; learned passives can be activated as Luminas by characters with sufficient available Lumina capacity. That means an equipped Picto’s stats and its learned passive are distinct considerations, and a full late-game passive setup may not be available during progression.
