ZERO: pick the reward that solves your current need. For a difficult Episode Battle objective, the Dragon Orb is the most targeted choice; for flexible spending, choose Zeni; and if you mean Super Shenron, a character unlock or its reported exclusive titles may be more valuable than currency. The game has three dragons—Shenron, Porunga, and Super Shenron—with different wish lists, so check which dragon you summoned before choosing.
How to rank the wishes
Use four practical tests: immediate usefulness, whether the reward is scarce or exclusive, whether it suits your current progression, and how much you value characters, combat customization, cosmetics, or collection completion. The rankings below are goal-based rather than a universal best-to-worst list.
Shenron wishes
| Rank for | Wish | Best when |
|---|---|---|
| 1 — Episode Battle progress | “I want to complete an Episode Battle” | You are stuck on a secondary objective or want help reaching an alternate path. Pro Game Guides says this grants a Dragon Orb, which lowers the difficulty of a selected Episode Battle secondary objective. |
| 2 — Flexible fallback | Zeni | You have purchases in mind and want to choose what to buy later. PCGamesN and Pro Game Guides each list 300,000 Zeni for Shenron; the amount and its current availability should be checked in your game’s wish menu. |
| 3 — Early progression | Player Level | You are early in progression and a level increase would help. Pro Game Guides reports this wish is unavailable at Player Level 20; verify the current limit in-game. |
| Personal preference | Outfits or titles | You value customization more than progression or spending flexibility. These are cosmetic choices, so their value depends on whether you want the specific options. |
Porunga wishes
Porunga grants three wishes according to PCGamesN and Pro Game Guides, so think of the summon as a bundle: make each pick count rather than comparing it with a single Shenron wish. Both guides list Zeni, Player Level, titles, and ability items; PCGamesN also lists outfits, while Pro Game Guides does not. Because the lists differ, use the options shown in your current in-game menu rather than assuming every guide’s list applies to your version.
- Ability items: A practical choice if you want to adjust combat setup. Pro Game Guides recommends them for players who are already level-capped or do not prioritize titles.
- Zeni: PCGamesN and Pro Game Guides list 120,000 Zeni for Porunga. Consider it if you have several desired purchases and prefer flexibility.
- Player Level, titles, or outfits: Pick these when progression or a specific cosmetic matters more to you than the other available rewards. Confirm the options and any level restrictions in the current menu.
Super Shenron wishes
| Rank for | Wish | Best when |
|---|---|---|
| 1 — Specific character early | Character | Pro Game Guides identifies Goku Black and Fused Zamasu as selectable characters and reports they otherwise become available in the shop at Player Level 20. Treat that as a guide-reported unlock detail and check the current game text before spending. |
| 2 — Spending flexibility | Zeni | You would rather decide among purchases later than request one specific item. PCGamesN and Pro Game Guides list 1,000,000 Zeni for Super Shenron; confirm the amount in the current wish menu. |
| 3 — Collection completion | Titles | You want the specific titles offered. Pro Game Guides describes these title choices as exclusive to the wish, but the exclusivity claim is not confirmed by an official source in the material available here; check the current unlock list before using a scarce summon. |
| Situational | Ability items or outfits | The particular options matter more to you than currency or a character. The guides list these categories, but their reward details are not fully identical, so rely on the in-game menu. |
Bandai Namco’s official Europe page describes a Super Shenron summon as an “Ultimate Edition Bonus.” That is an edition bonus, not evidence that ordinary play cannot provide dragon summons. See the official game and edition information.

Getting to a wish menu
PCGamesN’s 2024 guide says a summon requires seven Dragon Balls from the relevant dragon’s set and that players make wishes through the “Come Forth” menu. It describes Whis’ Stamp Book challenges as one route to Shenron’s set. Menu labels and acquisition behavior may change, so use the instructions displayed by your installed game version. The guides also discuss random post-battle drops and Super Dragon Ball acquisition, but their reported drop estimates and observations are not official rates or guaranteed rules.
