Start with the job you want the player to do, then consider whether the card fits your chemistry and upgrade plans. A high number in one attribute does not establish that a player is universally best.

- For runs in behind: compare acceleration and sprint speed. Elia, Simon, and Elanga stand out in MMOexp’s reported figures.
- For a target role: look at strength and jumping. Boniface is the clearest physical choice in this shortlist; Brereton offers a pace-and-strength blend.
- For shooting: Podolski’s reported shot power and volleys make him the specialist pick, with the trade-off of less pace noted by MMOexp.
- For close control: agility, balance, and dribbling are useful comparison points. Simon and Elia have the strongest listed agility and balance figures here.
- For squad links: check league and nationality alongside attributes. MMOexp specifically warns that Elia’s links can make him harder to fit.
Base silver, Silver Star, or evolved card?
“Silver” can refer to different item states, and that distinction matters when comparing stats or availability. A base silver card, a Silver Star item, and a card upgraded through Evolutions are not interchangeable.
Silver Stars were special 74-rated items
FIFAUTeam describes FC 24 Silver Stars as silver player items rated 74 with boosted stats. Its historical account says they were untradeable, typically earned through a weekly objective, and only rarely released through SBCs; they were not ordinary pack pulls. Its archive includes examples such as Iliman Ndiaye, Milan van Ewijk, and Haji Wright. These are historical details, not confirmation that an objective or item can still be obtained.

Evolutions can change the comparison
EA’s FC 24 Ultimate Team feature overview introduced Evolutions as a way to improve and customize players from a club, including lower-rated favourites. EA discussed possible upgrades such as skill moves, work rates, and weak foot, as well as using the same player in multiple Evolutions over the year. Check the exact item before committing
- Identify the version. Confirm whether you are looking at a base silver, Silver Star, or evolved item; do not transfer one version’s stats to another.
- Compare the attributes that match your role. Use pace, physicality, shooting, and close-control attributes as a shortlist filter, not as proof of match performance.
- Check chemistry and Evolution eligibility in-game. League, nationality, and the card’s exact requirements can change how useful a player is for your team.
- Verify availability rather than relying on an archive. FIFAUTeam’s list records historical Silver Stars; it does not establish that an objective is currently active.
WeFUT’s FC 24 database can help check listed silver items and ratings, but a database entry does not demonstrate in-match effectiveness. EA’s general Ultimate Team probabilities explanation says category odds are minimum chances for at least one item in a listed category or rating band, a particular item’s odds can be significantly lower, and probabilities are rerun after content updates.
