This October 2026 shortlist covers games reported as available in selected markets; check your local listing and device compatibility before downloading. The platforms and countries are reported by Pocket Gamer’s roundup, updated October 5, 2026, and have not been independently verified against every live store.
What “soft launch” means—and why availability changes
A soft launch makes a game available in a limited set of markets before, or apart from, a wider release. Developers can use those markets to observe player response and other metrics, then change the game before a broader launch. A listing in a roundup is not a promise that the game is downloadable in your country today: tests can expand, end, or disappear, and games can change substantially during development.
The list below is a snapshot, not a quality ranking or a hands-on review. Pocket Gamer’s October 5, 2026 roundup reports the platforms and countries shown. Store availability and compatibility can differ by country, device, and account, so search the title in your own Apple App Store or Google Play storefront before following any setup advice.

- Eggy Party — Multiplayer obstacle-course party game with custom map creation as a central feature. Listed for: Android and iOS in Canada, Sweden, Spain, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Mexico, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam. Pocket Gamer notes that additional regions were added in January 2024, so verify its current listing especially carefully.
Strategy, sports, and action
- Crown of Bones — Casual strategy built around increasing numbers, upgrading troops, and fighting through realms. Pocket Gamer identifies Century Games as the apparent maker and Puzza as publisher. Listed for: Android in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the UK, and the US.
- Top Goal — Football that combines direct player control with squad building, formations, and PvP. Listed for: Android and iOS in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Hong Kong, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
- Tower Dominion — Tower defense with a route-building twist: players also decide the path enemies take. Listed for: iOS and Android in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
- Game of Thrones: Dragonfire — Pocket Gamer lists this title as an Android soft launch in the Philippines, Indonesia, Sweden, Austria, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Malaysia, and Switzerland. The roundup does not establish mechanics, so check the official listing for a description before deciding whether it suits you.
Puzzles, stories, and cozy games
- SoulTerra Odyssey — Bandai Namco’s new IP, described as a Match3D roguelite battle game. Listed for: Android and iOS in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and the UK.
- Oh My Anne — Match-3 story game based on Anne of Green Gables. Listed for: iOS and Android in Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, the UK, and the US.
- FruitFall — Merge fruit to clear levels, with later obstacles including crates and frozen fruit. Listed for: iOS and Android in Brazil, India, and the UK.
- Mattel Match: Toybox — Match-3 featuring Mattel brands including UNO, Masters of the Universe, and Barbie. Listed for: iOS and Android in Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Sweden, and the Philippines.
- Puzzletown Mysteries — Puzzle-based mystery solving, including a missing-cats case. Listed for: iOS and Android in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Russia, France, Germany, and Denmark.
- Diamond Dreams — Match-3 progression connected to crafting jewelry. Listed for: iOS in Malaysia, Canada, the UK, Algeria, and the Philippines. It is the only title in this shortlist reported as iOS-only.
- Disney Magic Match 3D — A 3D matching puzzle about clearing colorful clutter. Listed for: iOS and Android in Germany, the UK, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, the Philippines, and Uruguay.
- Cats & Soup: Magic Recipe — Cozy cooking and merge-and-match play focused on recipes, a home for cats, and meeting new cat friends. Listed for: iOS and Android in Canada, Indonesia, the UK, and the US.
- Coin Master: Board Adventure — A board-adventure spin on Moon Active’s Coin Master franchise. Listed for: Android in the US, India, the UK, Romania, Canada, Sweden, Poland, and the Philippines.

The tracker list does not by itself establish support for both iOS and Android. Minecraft Blast is especially uncertain: the tracker lists it in Canada and Malaysia, while Mobilegamer.biz reports it appeared to have been removed from stores. Confirm an official listing before treating it as available.

How to check whether a game is available on your device
- Open the Apple App Store on iPhone or iPad, or Google Play on Android, using the account and storefront you normally use.
- Search for the exact game title and confirm that the listing is published by the expected developer or publisher where that information is given.
- Check that the listing offers an install option in your country and supports your device. The platform label in a roundup does not guarantee compatibility with every model or operating-system version.
- If the title does not appear or cannot be installed, treat it as unavailable through that storefront for your current region or device. Do not assume a region change will work or be permitted; access may depend on the relevant Apple ID or Google Play account.
Why soft-launch status reports can conflict
Trackers and editorial roundups may use different definitions, market coverage, and update schedules. For example, Mobilegamer.biz reports Overwatch Rush entering soft launch in the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia for iOS and Android, while a July PocketGamer.biz list recorded it as unavailable for download as of April 2026. The newer report is a more recent status signal, but neither replaces a live local-store check.
Mobilegamer.biz also reports early-access rollouts of Plants vs. Zombies 3: Evolved on iOS and Android, and Hill Climb Racing 3 on Google Play in the UK, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Scaling Games says it judges availability from App Store presence and uses proxy markets and prior US outcomes in its methodology; a title in that tracker is not automatically evidence of Android availability. These differences are why platform, country, and date should be checked together rather than inferred from a game’s name or an old status note.
