There is no verified single best Pharah build for Overwatch 2’s Stadium mode. A strong starting point is a direct-hit weapon build with Heat Seekers, Cyclic Salvo, Fuel Depot, and Triple Volley; it rewards accurate rockets with damage, fuel, and cooldown tempo. Switch toward Concussive Blast and mini-rocket synergies if you need more control or ways to respond to pressure, and choose a Barrage-focused route only when you have a safer opportunity to channel it.
Start with the direct-hit weapon tempo build
This route is the clearest documented starting point for players who can consistently land direct rockets. Its powers reinforce a loop of hitting targets, maintaining fuel, and following abilities with extra primary-fire pressure.

- Heat Seekers: follows Jet Dash with a lock-on primary shot.
- Cyclic Salvo: rewards direct hits with fuel and cooldown recovery.
- Fuel Depot: permanently increases maximum fuel when direct hits land.
- Triple Volley: makes the next primary fire after an ability shoot three lower-damage rockets.
Invest item purchases in weapon power, while reserving enough budget for survival to avoid being traded out. The live build editor describes this as a direct-hit-oriented route, not a measured win-rate leader: Recall Protocol’s Pharah build editor.
How to pilot it
Work from corners, peek to land direct hits, then use the resulting fuel and cooldown benefits to reposition. Avoid staying exposed in open air simply to keep firing. A Mobalytics guide updated February 19, 2026 also described a primary-fire/direct-hit approach with weapon and attack-speed investment and included build code 23NBS. That guide predates the June 2026 patch, so treat its code as historical corroboration rather than a current prescription.

Choose a route that fits the matchup
Build indexes and community discussion describe several Pharah archetypes, but popularity is not proof of effectiveness. Compare what each route asks you to do and how much time it leaves you vulnerable.
| Route | Damage pattern | Best fit | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Direct-hit weapon tempo | Repeated primary fire and ability-follow-up rockets | Players who land direct hits reliably and want fuel and cooldown tempo | Its value falls if direct hits are inconsistent |
| Concussive Blast and mini-rockets | Displacement plus mini-rocket follow-up | Players seeking extra engage, escape, or answers to flank and hitscan pressure | Rocket reliability and exposure can still be drawbacks; specific matchup benefits are anecdotal |
| Barrage and mini-Barrage | Concentrated ultimate burst | Situations where targets are isolated, distracted, or unable to punish the channel | High exposure while airborne; accurate opponents can punish the commitment |
Concussive Blast and mini-rocket control
Consider extra Concussive Blast charges, homing or hindering effects, and ability-power or survival purchases when available. Blizzard’s Pharah hero page lists options such as Evasive Maneuvers; the live build editor lists Extra Charge and Launch Vector. Check the current Armory for exact item names and values before planning a purchase order, since those details can change.

Players have described extra Concussive Blast and homing mini-rockets as useful against flankers and hitscan pressure, but this is community matchup advice, not a controlled comparison. Try this route if you value displacement or need more choices to escape or engage along a less predictable flight path.
Barrage burst
Barrage can deliver high burst when opponents are distracted or cannot punish the channel. Community reports characterize the approach as feast-or-famine: committing in the air can leave Pharah vulnerable to accurate opponents. Choose it when target isolation, timing, team support, and enemy aim create a reasonable opening, not as an automatic default.

What changed in Pharah’s Stadium kit
In its June 16, 2026 patch notes, Blizzard removed Fuel Conversion and introduced Nosedive: while airborne, crouch to dash toward the ground and restore 50% fuel, with a six-second cooldown. The same notes revised Rocket Propellant to provide 10% Weapon Power, 10% Ability Power, 90% reduced Rocket Launcher self-damage, and 75% Rocket Launcher self-knockback for three seconds after using an ability; its listed cost was 11,000. These are the latest Pharah-specific official changes established here, not a guarantee that no later changes occurred. See Blizzard’s June 16, 2026 patch notes.
Blizzard’s developers wrote in those patch notes: “Pharah has had 3 distinct viable options for most of her Stadium lifetime, so we’re doing a lighter touch here by reworking a couple of her least picked Powers and Items.” That is the developers’ qualitative assessment, not three measured build win rates.

Blizzard’s Season 18 announcement brought Pharah into the Stadium hero rotation and described refreshed options and balance changes. A later Director’s Take was quoted in a community post as saying Stadium would continue to receive seasonal balance updates, rank resets, and rewards, while Blizzard did not plan further hero or map additions. That statement is reported second-hand in the community post quoting the Director’s Take; it should not be read as a direct link to an official announcement.

Stadium differs from modes where you can freely swap a build mid-match. Blizzard’s Stadium FAQ says that Powers cannot be changed after selection; Power slots unlock every other round, up to four by round seven; Powers have no cash cost; and regular Perks are not enabled. The FAQ recommends using the Practice Range to calculate combinations of Powers and Items. Check the live client for current menu wording or later system changes.
- Test the route in the Practice Range. Check whether you can land the direct hits its power loop needs, or whether you get more value from control and survival.
- Set your Power choices before the match. Slots unlock over the course of the match, but selected Powers cannot be changed.
- Use the Armory to adapt item purchases. Keep the core idea of your route, but respond to the opposing composition and your own execution instead of following a shopping list blindly.
- Save or share a draft with Stadium Forge. Blizzard introduced Forge to save builds in the Practice Range, access them in the Stadium Armory, and share or import builds. Suggested early- and late-game items are starting points, not requirements. Details are in Blizzard’s Stadium Forge announcement.
How to judge whether a build is working
Judge the route by its trade-offs in your match, not by an index’s popularity order. Stadium build indexes currently include weapon-power, mini-rocket, ultimate-focused, and movement-oriented loadouts, but their time-decayed popularity rankings do not establish which is most effective. Ask:
- How consistently are you landing direct hits?
- Is your damage coming from repeated primary fire, Concussive Blast and mini-rocket follow-up, or Barrage burst?
- How long are you exposed in the air to deliver that damage?
- Are your mobility and fuel tools helping you stay active or disengage?
- Can the route respond to hitscan or flank pressure?
- How much of your item budget must go toward survival instead of damage?
No reliable, date-stamped October 2026 Pharah Stadium leaderboard, controlled route comparison, or verified high-rank win-rate breakdown is established here. Third-party loadouts and community guides can offer ideas, but they do not prove a current best build by win rate.
