Which PC wrestling game should you choose?
WWE 2K26: best for a current WWE game and many modes
WWE 2K26 is the current annual WWE-branded PC entry covered here. 2K announced its PC availability through Steam on March 6, 2026; the publisher scheduled the Standard Edition for March 13, while Steam displays a March 12 release date, reflecting its regional date display. The game’s central draw is a large WWE roster alongside modes for different kinds of play. 2K’s announcement and the Steam listing describe the current release.
2K describes the CM Punk Showcase as including alternate-history scenarios. The publisher also lists four new match types: Dumpster, I Quit, Three Stages of Hell, and Inferno, alongside environmental interactions, interactive entrances, new AI sequences, and rivalries extending into Play Now and Exhibition. These are publisher feature descriptions, not independent assessments of how well each addition works.

Fire Pro Wrestling World: best for match simulation and customization
Fire Pro Wrestling World takes a simulation-oriented approach rather than focusing on a contemporary licensed presentation. Spike Chunsoft highlights custom wrestlers, ring customization, Deathmatch rules, Gruesome Fighting, SWA rules that combine professional wrestling and MMA, and tools for defining wrestler behavior. AEW: Fight Forever: best for AEW and an arcade emphasis
AEW: Fight Forever is the AEW-branded alternative for players who want an arcade-style wrestling game. Its Steam listing describes AEW talent and moves, a career mode, customization, multiple match types, and co-op. Steam lists Controller, Local Co-Op, and Online Co-Op among the game’s features, but those labels do not establish compatibility with every controller. Wrestling Empire: best for retro career play and promotion booking
Wrestling Empire pairs retro-styled, free-form wrestling with a career and promotion-management angle. MDickie’s Steam page describes a career involving up to 350 opponents across 10 rosters, local multiplayer, and a mode for booking a promotion. With 200 MB of listed storage and low minimum PC requirements, it is a plausible option for an older or modest PC, although you should check the current requirements against your system.
