Version 3.6.0 is a historical release, not the current download target; get BGMI only through its official site or your device’s official app store, and check the live listing for the latest version and compatibility.
What was in the BGMI 3.6.0 update?
KRAFTON’s patch-note announcement named Sacred Quartet Theme Mode as the update’s central addition and broadly described the release as bringing new features, weapons, and vehicles. Apple’s India App Store version history also lists Sacred Quartet as a new feature for version 3.6.0, dated January 16, 2025. The available official descriptions do not establish more specific gameplay mechanics, so details beyond that broad summary should not be assumed.
What did the Mahindra collaboration add?
Mahindra announced the BGMI partnership on January 14, 2025, saying players could experience the BE 6 in the game starting January 16. The tie-in included themed outfits, equipment and event content:
- BE 6-inspired suits named Quantum and Chrono Charge
- Volt Tracer Gun
- Neon Drop BE6 Parachute
- Flashvault BE 6 Backpack
- SparkStrike Pan
- Event crates and missions
KRAFTON India’s Head of Business Development, Seddharth Merrotra, said: “This collaboration marks a major milestone in KRAFTON India’s efforts to deliver truly immersive and localized experiences for Indian gamers”.

Was there a chance to win a real Mahindra BE 6?
Mahindra’s January 2025 announcement described a promotion offering a chance to win a real BE 6. The stated steps were to complete Mahindra BE 6 Exchange Centre missions, collect a “Nitro Wheel” and redeem a “Mahindra Event Crate,” then post a 10–30 second video featuring the BE 6 in BGMI on Instagram or YouTube, tag the official accounts, and use #BGMIxMahindra and #UnleashTheCharge. Terms and conditions applied.
The announcement does not provide a closing date, and current mission or contest availability is not established. Treat this as a historical promotion, not an active prize offer.

How to download BGMI now
Do not look for a third-party APK to install version 3.6.0. The update is an old release, and the game’s official listing is the safer route to the current app version.
- Visit the official BGMI website or open your device’s official app store.
- Search for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA and confirm the provider is KRAFTON before installing or updating.
- Check the live listing for the version currently offered and whether your device meets its compatibility requirements.
Apple’s India listing identifies KRAFTON Inc. as the provider and, as listed when checked, gives a 4 GB app size and iOS 13.0-or-later compatibility. These are Apple listing details, not universal requirements for Android; store information can change.
