No reviewed source confirms a Black Friday 2026 discount on V-Bucks or Fortnite gift cards. Epic’s documented 2025 Black Friday sale covered game editions, not V-Bucks, so treat any advertised offer as unverified until its price, region and terms are clear.
Are V-Bucks cheaper on Black Friday 2026?
There is no confirmed 2026 V-Bucks Black Friday price cut in the available official announcements. That does not rule out a future promotion; it means shoppers should not plan around a discount that has not been announced.

Epic’s 2025 Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale announcement described discounts of up to 80% on premium, deluxe and complete editions of games, with the sale running November 18 through December 2, 2025. Those offers were for game editions and do not establish that V-Bucks were discounted.
Can you use a Fortnite gift card to buy V-Bucks?
Yes. Epic says funds from a Fortnite gift card can be added to an Epic account balance and used to buy V-Bucks on the Epic Games Store. This is a way to pay for V-Bucks, not proof of a Black Friday deal. Epic’s gift card support page explains the card and balance system.

- Redemption: Online
Epic says Fortnite gift cards are replacing V-Bucks cards. Older V-Bucks cards may still be available at some local retailers in some regions, and Epic provides a separate V-Bucks card redemption page. Availability and redemption depend on region and card type.
What is the GHOST Monks gift-card bonus?
Epic’s gift card page currently advertises a GHOST Monks Outfit for a first Fortnite gift-card redemption through December 31, 2026, where Fortnite gift cards are sold. The offer does not apply to older V-Bucks cards. Check Epic’s page for the current terms and whether the offer is available in your region before buying; a bonus item is not the same as a V-Bucks price reduction.

How to check whether an offer is a real deal
Compare what you actually receive with what you pay, and verify the offer for your country and platform. A gift card should not be described as discounted just because it can be used to buy V-Bucks.
